Funny. I was looking at the Cabelas catalog last night and came across these http://www.cabelas.com/product/shooting/gun-maintenance/gun-smithing|/pc/104792580/c/104814180/sc/104370480/wheeler-reg-delta-series-ar-armorer-s-professional-kit/2196563.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse%2Fgun-smithing%2F_%2FN-1102327%2FNs-CATEGORY_SEQ_104370480 or http://www.cabelas.com/product/shooting/gun-maintenance/gun-smithing|/pc/104792580/c/104814180/sc/104370480/wheeler-reg-delta-series-ar-armorer-s-essentials-kit/1530083.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse%2Fgun-smithing%2F_%2FN-1102327%2FNs-CATEGORY_SEQ_104370480
  3. Anyone here train with these guys down in WV? Im trying to decide between these guys and Steve Fischer at Sentinel Concepts.
  4. I've ordered from them before. They are good to go. Real quick shipping too since it comes from CT
  5. Yes. I switched the screws around opposite the directions say to. I believe I put the longer screw in the rear and shorter one up front. That seemed to have fixed the issue.
  6. Who has the aero deal? PSA or Primary Arms?
  7. Used to average about 30k/ year. This past year was about 15k and it should stay about that going forward. 2003 BMW 530. 213k miles. Still running great.
  8. Correct but he is talking about building another AR . Kept is simple for him
  9. Neither have I but sometimes my luck changes at really bad times haha.
  10. Thanks for the response everyone. I'll head to the customer center and ship it. I was hesitant to lie about the contents because by UPS regulations I'm supposed to notify them if it's a firearm. If for whatever reason it got lost, the claim would certainly be denied.
  11. I think this is the right place to post this but forgive me if its not. Im sending my Beretta off to Wilson Combat for some work. I was planning on using UPS and overnight it, however when I walked into the UPS store today, they said they couldnt ship it because they dont have the proper license to ship guns. Nothing on the UPS website says stores need one so maybe its a NJ law requirement? In any case, does anyone know a UPS/Fedex place near Jersey City area that will ship handguns? I know an FFL can USPS it for me but if I go this route, will I have to go thru a background check when the gun comes back? My dad in MA sent his in this way and the FFL had to do a background check before they could give him his own gun back. Is this the case here? I dont have any pistol permits so I dont want to get stuck doing it this way. Thanks
  12. Daily deal at PSA for anyone interested. $50 for a stripped & blemished lower. http://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-blemished-safe-fire-lower.html
  13. You can not have a flash hider in NJ. What you are seeing on the board here and in stores are comps or brakes. And yes, it will need to be pinned and welded
  14. Did the ALG trigger drop right in or did you have to do some fitting? I have the same rifle and was thinking of switching up the trigger. Did your original G2 cause any bolt hang ups when hand cycling? Any hang ups with the new trigger?
  15. Dillon dust is awesome. Alex- if you want any more pocket constitutions, let me know. I can send you some. I'm always looking for teachers to hand them out
  16. Yea the thought crossed my mind. The more Ive read about the Ruger, the more I want to go that direction. I really like the chassis that comes from the factory and it accepts all sorts of mags. Ill be replacing the barrel with one from LRI right off the bat so I know it will be a shooter. Def going for 6.5CM.
  17. As a previous MA resident, welcome. These guys have pretty much covered it. Bringing your guns here without a permit is fine. Just make sure you drive directly to your home and don't take unnecessary stops. MA and NJ have the same AWB restrictions so if the rifle or pistol was MA compliant, you wont need to make any changes here. Losing the LTC sucks but NJ does have some advantages over MA. Bigger selection of guns to choose from. You dont have the AG list randomly deciding what guns can and cannot be bought. Suppliers will have no problem shipping ammo to NJ unlike MA so you can finally start getting good deals. As a bonus, you can get rid of your 10rd mags and upgrade to 15! When you get your FID card and pistol permits, you can actually buy new glocks! And at normal prices too!
  18. Haha holy shit. I've ordered a lot of products from these guys and have never seen that before
  19. Every application. I don't have this trigger on my gun (yet) but I have played with some high end triggers before. It just feels better in every way.
  20. Yea I've seen the ones on gunbroker. That's probably where I will end up getting mine when I pull the trigger. Really want to find a nice gen 1
  21. Curious...what shop did you see one in?
  22. Hahah Im working on that. Found the hot girl. I need her to run into some money now and help supply my addictions.
  23. I'm eventually going to get one. My larue predatAR needs a larue trigger soon
