  1. Tony, you can register at the following for the Old Bridge match http://www.obcats.com/ If you sign up for USPSA at the match, the match that day is free.
  2. What's different between this and the 91/30 ?
  3. I couldn't tell you if there were any pros there and their firearms. All I know is that they had around 50 shooters that day for all divisions.
  4. I think the fobus paddle wasn't seated into my belt far enough but am going with the belt loop next time anyways. If you have a G17, I would give that a try first and then see what everyone else is shooting, talk to some folks on their firearm selection, likes/dislikes,etc. Was looking at all the shooters choice of handguns in production and a lot of them for production class were Glocks. The M&P Pro is a popular choice too however not to say there were others as well.
  5. I was in the production class with a Beretta 92FS. Next match (depending if my permits arrive in time) I am planning to use an M&P Pro 9mm or if not, my Glock 17. I didn't do too bad considering my mag pouch came off my belt trying to grab a mag to reload. Embarrasing ? yes, but I had a lot of fun. Next time I will use the belt loop attachment instead. There were 7 stages which made for a long fun day shooting. Hopefully will see you at one of the matches.
  6. You guys will enjoy this class - Mike is a great instructor. After taking Mike's intro class, I've already participated in a USPSA match in Old Bridge in January with a LOT more confidence. Looking forward to the next match !
  7. Smooth/lighter trigger would be ideal
  8. Very cool - I get to see him tonight at The Rock
  9. Kimber makes a .22 conversion kit as well as a few other manufacturers I believe they run around $330 at Cabelas - even Amazon has them !
  10. Mike, You may want to take a drive to Cheyenne Mountain on Route 130 - they sometimes have a good selection of 1911's, both new and used.
  11. Tony, I have taken many course with shootnj, pistol, shotgun, rifle,RSO,etc. They are a very professional group of people with senior people on staff that know what they are talking about. The rifle, pistol and shotgun courses are typically 2 days with the first day lecture and practical exercises and the second day on the range. You won't regret it and will have a lot of fun.
  12. This is now my second match - I had a lot of fun at Old Bridge match last Saturday. Looking forward to this.
