Is it busy on weekends? How many shooting lanes are there? The pics on the website are not very good.

I was wondering if anyone has ever been to Wicen's Shooting Range and Learning Center. If you have gone, what do you think about the place? It looks like you pay a daily range fee. Can you stay as long as you want? It looks to be probably less than 30 minutes from my house. I think I will have to check it out one of these days.

That was pretty cool. I only have PS2(which I haven't played in years), but did borrow my brother's Xbox360 to play MW2 this past summer for 3 months while he was gone. Loved it! With all these dancing/ exercising games coming out even the wife is thinking maybe we should get an Xbox. We literally were talking about this a few hours ago. We are constantly seeing the dancing game(s) and Black Ops commercials lately.

Suggestions to go rent some guns and get some hands-on experience are very good. When you do figure out what feels best don't necessarily let the cost sway you too much. You don't want to regret buying a gun that was your second or third choice. It is possible to get really good deals on many of these guns. I have a P226 and got a really good deal on it. Much less than what most dealers sell them for (barely over dealer cost). I suggest you check out Jim Flynn on Rt. 31, up the road from you, at Jim Flynn's Truck Repair. A buddy of mine just got a P226 from him and paid even less than what I paid for mine (I couldn't believe it - I didn't get mine from him). I only have experience with the 92FS and the Sig. Both are very nice and feel great in my big man hands (6'3" 315lbs)

No worries. I think that they used to stop Fridays in October, but I believe that now it is December. I only joined on the first Friday that they were open this past April so I haven't actually been there during the winter. Dix gun club offers a bang for winter activities

No issues with mine. The police trade-ins usually look pretty good too. How was the finish coming of so easily? Was it flaking or rubbing off easily?
