  1. Failboat, they even talk about Canadia prime minister harper lolz
  2. Hey thanks much, care to elaborate? Or privately?
  3. fyi there are two distinct reasons why Stand Your Ground was not invoked and GZ is EXTREMELY LUCKY to have such excellent counsel with such foresight ... One, as alluded to by the state attorney who is not nearly as pretty or important as she thinks she is... SYG becomes a judge hearing NOT a jury trial. Seeing what we just saw, is there ANYONE HERE who thinks that judge or most any other would have ruled for Zimmerman? She would have been laughing while she ruled against SYG. Two, because you can only invoke SYG 1 time, once, and they were saving it for appeal, among other issues, they would have said it was a SYG Issue he should nor could not even have been charged under SYG So whole trial and conviction was wrong and invalid. that is the real reasons SYG DIDNT get used or come up. Damned effective trial foresight and client representation.
  4. O"Mara just had a great point - "This "in your heart" stuff, is not what they're supposed to do..." and I meant to address that. The Prosecutors wanted reverse jury nullification. If you're not 101% familiar, jury nullification would be something along the lines of , the jurors find someone not guilty when it's clear he/she is guilty ... basically saying "We don't care we think the person was justified breaking the law" OR " we don't agree with the law". There have been excellent examples on Law and Order episodes. I think one episode in the later years of the show involved a hot blonde therapist running down "JACOB LOWENSTEIN" a coke head pysch doc who was imprisoned in the earliest years of LnO, then released but still a monster, and she killed him with her car because he was still seeking to have a family (to abuse). The jury said not guilty, ie "We don't care she broke the law". THESE PROSECUTORS basically wanted the jurors to say "It's not against the law but WE DON'T LIKE IT, WE DON'T AGREE WITH IT, WE DON'T SIT ON THAT SIDE OF THE FENCE, SO WE WANT YOU TO THROW HIM IN JAIL" and quite literally argued for this. And that is absolutely wrong and those guys deserve formal prosecutorial misconduct reprimands or worse.
  5. I believe Not Guilty is absolutely appropriate and I believe that, if Trayvon was a tragedy as everyone continually cried out, it was a further tragedy Zimmerman was tried, after the POLICE said, "He didn't do anything wrong/ we're not charging him" and O-czar-a and Holda decided, Oh no hellz no, we say charge him, NOW DO IT. I am more concerend, having spent an hour or two BEFORE the verdict was in, reading the Twitter threats continually saying how they can't wait till it's not guilty so they can go riot and loot, most people naming Best Buy and Walmart as places they're going to riot and ransack at. Sickening, and I'm sure if and when that happens even more people will be in danger of bodily harm they didn't ask for.
  6. There was some brand new stuff released about a year ago designed to be exactly like a flash-bang for the 12 gauge, it was specifically marketed to LEOs and polcie departments because even they have to jump through some hoops to get actual flash bangs apparently, they are expensive, (I want to say the video said like $100 a piece vs $3 a shell) and require mandatory and fairly thorough training to deploy and still risk serious problems like injury to the "bad guys" or incidentally not so bad guys depending where they are thrown. But anyone including individual (operators) officers could just buy these or a dept could stock up a few cases. It seemed ingenius. I actually was at the time very very keen to get some for SHTF/S&P stocking and I remember it was something coming out in the future. I lost track of them, then I believe I hadn't the money the first time I sW THEM,this reminds me to get in gear. Not a PERFECT solution but for a civilian I see these having 5 uses MINIMUM and that is not counting the fun aspect.
  7. Ok so first thanks to everyone in the last thread who had given me some ideas and suggested I take serious action to fix the problem /clear the "jam" .... and hey, 'Desperate times call for desperate measures....". I typed out a long background to the question but I know a lot of people hate reading on here so I will just type the actual circumstance. Say you have a full tube in my case 6 shells, you rack it back which brings a shell into the carrier area , then as you start to apply pressure forward, your'e not "sending it home" you just push a little bit forward. Does the extractor on yours or other 870s "grab" the shell and hold it firmly into place? Or does it not , it doesn't have the power to "grab it" and the shell sort of floats above it freely, in danger of not going into place? The first picture represents what I call the right, ideal situation. The bolt comes a little forward and the extractor has 'grabbed" the rim of the shell, holding it and then you can leave it there like that ,when you want to shoot you simply complete the application of pressure on the slide to finish loading . The second represents what happens when its not "grabbing" ... so this was happening a LOT to me after I first installed the new non-MIM extractor months back. I knew something was wrong and it culminated with a major lockup and stoppage/malfunction at the range back in like Feb or March. I knew I had something wrong, and I just got the parts in, thinking I might have done something to them when I was messing I replaced the extractor plunger spring AND the extractor plunger .. when I put the extractor back in last night it does "grab" the shell a lot better , but still if I don't "pump it" hard enough it results in the 3rd picture. So my question is, is it SIMPLY a situation of, it's what happens if you don't rack it powerfully and everyone else would have the same problem, you gotta rack it, OR is it something with mine, you guys can rack it slowly with minimal pressure and your extractor will still 'grab" the shells no problem? Cool thank.
  8. Would you guys believe I actually got them out???!!! Thanks everyone sometimes a little encouragement is all ya need loool! Basically I went to find the Dremel, and I found it with dead battery packs and no accessories. So I started charging them while looking at other solutions. We recently got a dual-wheeled grinder I momentarily considered but it would be WAAAAY too difficult to get the edge of the bigass wheel into the little space and grind etc. Then I see on the floor of the area the new grinder got installed last month is an OLD, I mean, Grandfather or Great Grandfather, huge bench vice. And I figured, WTF Right? It's broken anyway? I secured it and tried whacking at it with a few flat screwdrivers, which basically knocked the bolt loose in the vice and marred the screwdriver a little, that was it. SO I reconfigured my attack----- with a rubber mallet I had for beating a piece of the new Saiga 12 into place, and a drywall screw I saw sitting there. I tightened the bolt in the vice really good, gave a few love taps, and then whacked the stuff outta it with a drywall nail, which did three things- Took off the tip of the drywall screw, Sent the plunger flying across the floor, and deposited the offending piece of Leatherman tip metal neatly on the vice lip. WOOHOO. Now I am in the process of cleaning it up real good and trying to reinstall everything without screwing something else up, lol.. THANKS AGAIN Everyone. I really didnt' expect to be able to fix it, I thought it was hopeless and in need of a $100 replacement- thanks for the kind encouragement and ideas. Really from the bottom of my heart thanks much.
  9. just wanted to make sure I chimed back in to say thank you to everyone I am in the process of trying lots of different things... I thank everyone hopefully I can give some status updates , the Cutting wheel might not be a bad idea!
  10. My family just bought 30 acres in FL and we're in the planning of building a house, hopefully i'll be down there by end of the year... I cannot WAIT to walk in and buy a handgun (unfortunately 3 day wait I believe w/o a CCW permit) but I have huge plans...CCW, maybe some NFA gear like an AAC can for my AAC-SD, a PDW-sized SBR like a 7.5" piston or my dream 10.4" 416 upper...woohooo.. maybe even a 14.5" .308 AR lol.
  11. Lol you guys must have thought I was joking when I said I am totally bribeble and have a connections!
  12. Imho it looks WAAAAY better than a CX4... I love what I hear about the CX4 but dont at all like the looks...love the USC AND would own one if it was in 9 or even .40 but as of yet I dont have .45 in my family of calibers and wasnt going to start with the USC. But again its sweet... some company does fully legal and NJ LEgal UMP conversions with pistol grip, fixed UMP Stock and mags etc almost 4000... temping. If it was 4000 and you got the short barrel and folding stock etc I would be all on it, like a 10.4" HK416 .. Damned nfa laws.
  13. Yeah to be honest i had considered something along those lines, with that exact thought process, got nothing to lose. I do have one question ppl can chime in... there are 870 Express and 870 Police breech bolt assemblies for sale. I of course assumed I would buy POLICE but-- I remember one thread online said someone was going to buy Marine Magnum extractor plunger and extractor plunger springs because "they're probably better" and someone made very good points that they would be therefore different metals on different metals which in the presence of an electrolyte would cause corrosion immediately. So I am concerned the 870 Police bolt is parkerized or something like that and the 870 Express has the junky black powder coat oxide whatever they are calling the piss poor finish they use. Any issue here?
  14. was pretty hard to get a decent shot but this is what I got...
  15. I am posting this simply as a warning/lesson to other people and to show what can happen... If anyone is fortunate enough to take care because of reading this I guess it will be worth it. As many have known, I have an awesome 870 that I took from a Dick's Sporting Goods-store bought 870 [Express] Tactical and painstakingly made into an 870 Tactical Magpul Police. I added a ton of extra Magpul accessories, a badass sling system that affords me the use of an amazing Blueforce Vickers quick-adjust 2 point sling OR the Magpul single point/two point MS2 sling sytem and several sling attachment points, the adjustable comb, an Aimpoint Micro, etc. In addition I replaced all parts with Police-standard parts and had had a spot of trouble with the extractor. I have since learned there is a known problem with Remington factory not properly 'tapering the non-MIM (steel) extractors, I did not know this, and so I had a lot of problems. I decided to ensure 101% reliability I was going to replace the extractor plunger, extractor plunger spring, and try tapering my (quite new) steel extractor with a few file strokes, if not I had another brand new extractor. Anyway, while attempting to remove the plunger and plunger spring, the plunger got crooked and stuck in the bolt. This has happened before and is a big pain in the self , but I had dealt with it before. Except this time, I actually snapped off the tip of the Leatherman tool in the extremely small area underneath the stuck plunger. Its never getting out , neither of them are. Can't remove one without the other being removed, and vice versa. I tried boiling to contract the metal, freezing to expand, oiling up to slick it for slip n slide , nope. So I am now with a $1000+ 870 that is beat until I buy a new 870 breech bolt assembly. Cool $100 bucks. so everyone be careful when you are doing any bolt work.... it's VERY easy for that damned plunger to get stuck and while I had unstuck'ed it before, this time I lost a perfectly good older Leatherman and the bolt ...so be careful everyone.
  16. I had the money for a HK MR556A1 back in October/November... I was seriously considering one with the necessary mods of having a NJ legal muzzle device (I was thinking the BattleComp 1 I believe the shortest BattleComp) and the stock pinned, and since i may be moving I was thinking, I needed to have it super professionally done so it's "permanent" but "unpermeable" later by a gunsmith in FL , to therefore enjoy the awesome stock and at least option of a different muzzle device (Although if you go to the expense of installing a BattleComp you most likely just keep it.) I decided Naw ... it's okay..... $3000 for the rifle, $1000+ optic, $1000 for ammo and accessories, (Let's make it, $2000 for Optic, accessories, ammo & mags)... Lot of money, I can (and did) spread that money out on a few lower firearms and life living-stuff not gun related. Now I really wish I had that HK.... and as I am more dedicated to both .308 and 7.62x39 and haven't a 5.56 in the family, I am REALLY lusting over the HK MR762A1... and am really really thinking that might be my moving present if I can 1) Save up the $5000+ for it lol and 2) ever actually move to Florida. Colt is an awesome firearm. Top of the line. HK and specifically the MR556/762 is SUPERPREMIUM and ELITE-end-of-the-line.
  17. Hey brother thank you for the tip, but I am the FIRST ONE to call "DBaaaaaaaaag" on the people that post their "lists' of firearms, etc. and don't actually HAVE them... I actually just got told how the other guys Remington 700 AAC-SD is better than my AAC-SD, because "[his] Nightforce is way better than my Nikon Monarch and [his] AICS looks much better than my Manners T5A ... " except, he doesn't have them yet lol. Not even like, ordered on the way in the mail. Saving up money someday, lol, but still, Better! So I admit , my 700 AAC can and dream SBR are just that, dreams lool. You got that great USC and I admit, I am o so jelly... Credit where credit is due my friend. Lemme ask you, what optic you going with? I was leaning to a Zeiss or even a Mepro M21 because IMHO a HK USC needs an exotic, sexy smooth optic. EOTech and or AImpoint are absolutely GREAT, I just wanted some pizzazz.
  18. it really bothers me that this guy is even on trial... They all basically realized, he didn't break a law and was both in self defense AND Stand your ground, and nothing can be charged against him.... and the White House and or Mr. Justice Dept. calls down to Florida, and says, you do something about this! We want this guy hanged! And Florida Gov man takes a woman and says, go down there and charge this man... because we said so. And now he is quite literally fighting for his life, for protecting and defending his. And I cannot cannot cannot get past all these CNN and NBC News etc . coorespondants who have 10 degrees and a high degree of fame posting "Its all about Race and if you think Zimmerman should be not guilty YOU ARE RACIST!" I just can't get past that. At what point, in their own words, Do we get past race, and just go on the facts? Because to be honest I couldn't really give about the case since it's not me or mine, But the facts quite literally seem to look like he should never even been charged, let alone got this far. And while I THINK the case has unfolded quite favorably for him, remember recent trials- the Rutgers spy kid got convicted , in the words of another young man juror, "because he just didn't look sorry..he sat there and didn't look sorry... so we had to convict him..." Who really KNOWS what those ladies are thinking? Either way I feel like this guys life is over, if he gets acquitted I would be seriously looking at a foreign country like Switzerland , I am listening to the closing right now, this guy is just smearing him as much as possible, throw as many dirty nasty raw pieces of pasta on the wall and see if one sticks to his face.
  19. This is very nice, something I have long pondered. When I first encountered in in 2010 sometime late, I had been looking for a present for myself after back surgery... I decided to give me'self something nice since no one else did...and I saw this, thought, I could work with this.. I have twice rented an MP5 in Vegas and it's absolutely awesome, I'm not a very big guy so a smaller subgun is perfect for me, and this is what HK offers for civilians so I thought, I'll work with it! What held me back was it only comes in .45 ACP, and I just don't have any other .45 ACP in the family, so it would be a totally new caliber etc. Which really gave me back and forth pause. Fast forward to this October, I knew I was getting a decent chunk of money and had some budgeted for a few new "toys". I started to really really like this USC again and thought, maybe it will become my all around long gun, a range fun gun, a home defense long gun, designated SHTF/Survival in the neighborhood gun( living in an area that would be conducive to such a firearm). So I actually TRIED to buy one, had it all planned out. Earlier in 2012 I had seem them going for $1200 which I took to be, the lowest retail price, and several places were that low. As 2012 went on it got hgher and higher. I contacted several sellers in October and said, listen, you're anywhere from like $1650 to $2000+ , if you go to $1200 I will send you the cash right now. Basically everyone said, no thanks, I'd rather keep it up for sale than sell to you for a very low price. The one place that was particularly curt with me got a reply saying, that is too bad, because I have a lot to spend on guns. This was going to be a $3000+ purchase, because I would need the HK USC, the very expensive HK options like the rail kit, the proper HK foregrip, an optic (I was leaning towards a Zeiss Z Point to keep the sexy euro look), a case of .45 FMJ and a case of .45 JHP defense ammo, and probably 10 magazines... Maybe I sent this to more than one place, and one place might have said "Whatever I don't want your business" lol. the other said something like' Well if you told me you were looking for all that maybe I would have worked with you" . .... So Anyway, I said, obviously God doesn't want me to have a USC or it would have worked out, and it moved to my mind. a month or month and a half later, everything changed, and they were over $2 up to $3G's and I said, Oh well... lol. Still awesome. Still damned sexy if you ask me, if and when I get to FL in this year or next like the plan is, my NFA plans are an AAC suppressor for my 700 AAC-SD, and one of my dream type longguns, either an 10.4" 416 upper SBR, or maybe a purchased professional HK UMP SBR, which are just so sweet. Years down the road but hey, a man with no dreams is a man with no hope.
  20. the sites listed the Manners at 4 lb. and the AICS 2.0 5.9 (not sure the non-folder off my memory ) ... so that is basically two pounds, not the largest but, if a Manners is 4 lb, the AICS would be 50% heavier . .. Man Bullzeye sounds like you sure have a lot of expensive stuff! I am pretty happy with just having one right now, so far so good.
  21. again bad pictures in the area the dog likes to sleep at to guard bedroom doors / protect ppl during the day so it's not a great spot but it was what I could do when I could do it, when i gets darker i'll try to get some shiny pics, IMHO it really is awesome looking.

    Ruger mini-30

Chad and Winki I would like to say both excellent point(s) I didn't even consider and I pride myself on the situation of ALWAYS considering all that which can be considered.. and legalities and NJ and etc. didn't even enter my thoughts, well said. A regular looking mini thirty is definitely less evil than ANYTHING AK looking so I take that point; now, if you ever have to use it and things get heavy, i would not for a second count on it helping you by hiding its takticool , it's a Mini that shoots the dreaded 7.62x39, and its SEMI AUTOMATIC!!!!!! which is now about the worst thing a gun can be, (They really don't even know what they're complaining about , the Piers Morgans of the world, haven't got a clue .. "if you pull your finger fast enough it becomes fully automatic! " *riiiiight* and if you rub the damned lamp fast enough, the genie pops out. You just haven't rubbed fast enough for long enough yet.). I am in a lucky position to be moving to FL sometime within the next 6-12 months and actually, I just bought a $1100 rifle stock I had considered spending that money on a new AK style rifle, but where I love the rifle(s) I was looking at, there was NJ legal neutering involved, and thats just because the muzzle brake is not permanently pinned! If I wait and just bide my time , and hopefully my money, down in free land you just....Walk in...and pick out....what the heck you want....... so close but yet so far away....
  23. After a long long time, many months of research, changing the mind on "Ths stock I definitely want" a few times, after selecting a few, saving, spending the saved money, saving some more, going to buy the "one you are absolutely sure you want this time" - only to find it's all over the world OUT OF STOCK and CANNOT be bought, spending THAT Money, deciding what you want but not having the money, going back to one of the previous ones and DEFINITELY DECIDING, WHEN I GET THE CASH THIS IS IT THIS TIME, only to change my mind again-------- Oh yeah baby! Go big or go home! Manners Composite Stocks, arguably the best in the business (McM? HS? AI? 'Your Stock Sucks'!) ... I went with what I decided was the overall best and overall best for me and my plan and usage / ideas. I went with the T5A , T5 being the Thumbhole Tactical stock... I like thumbholes, I think they present FOR ME some great comfort and control-ability, .... The A is adjustable, with a integral KMW/Loggerhead ? adjustable cheekpiece... really a great feature. I remember reading how Army snipers of the last 2-3 decades all seem to agree, while they would not have qualms with their M24's performance over the Marine Corps M40, the lack of the HS Precision M24 stock to have any cheekpiece at all REALLY hurt it, and compared to the nice McMillan M40 stocks they would say "it sucks"...As SOON as I shouldered my new setup the first time I said, I could get used to this, but I would be PERFECT if I can bring up the piece just a little... and I can... nice. Also has the DBM-Option, Badger Ordnance Mini Chassis... which is a true bolt in, repeatable bedding system chassis for perfect lockup-lockin, and as a benefit accepts Accuracy International magazines .. At first I was looking at stocks like the Adjustable HS Precision M24/tactical and thumbhole models... and then some McMillan models..but the idea of a magazine detachable for changing etc. just really started to grow on me....but it was minimum $300-$350 to add to a stock, and with the HS you're using THEIR system, therefore Their magazines, the McMillan you can use the new popular but you're needing to have the stock bedded, which was a major concern of mine. I really loved the classic 'legacy' AICS chassis... and would be an owner of a AICS 2.0 probably in OD Green in March and April but when I got the money, I had saved nearly $2G's for the chassis, mags, and an Atlas bipod/spigot because people made a big deal of it.. but they were SOLD . OUT. EVERYWHERE. ON. EARTH. when I was ready to buy. I MEAN EVERYWHERE. I would up having life happening, needed the money, shortly spent it all, and soon after I realized I had no stock money left, and then started getting emails saying the stuff was arriving for sale. Oh well. This time I came close damned close again but it hit me..the AICS is big, heavy, and not really for carrying. I might not be doing much carrying or hunting but I just feel like I'd like the option. the AICS to me is dedicated prone/bench setup. I really started getting the wish for the Manners. Would have considered them earlier in the year but no availability and 12-24wk wait, closer to 24, for an order.... so this past week on the 3rd I saw how Stockys had a T5A in my config in coyote tan.. nice nice.. I really started liking the FDE/Tan color... decided i think I wanted it... was looking at it on the 4th and somehow found others for sale on EuroOptic, with my Forest camo color scheme, and also a Desert.... I am moving to 30 acres of wooded suburb/rural land 30 mins from the Gulf of Mexico on FL sometime this year, and the forest color REALLY looked like it might fit in down there.... and I said. F*orget it LETS DO THIS. A few days of nerve wrecking wait and worry you made the wrong decision, should I have got a T4/T3/T2 ... a folder, etc... finally it arrives, you see it and hold it and say, I did pretty good.... then you get it set up... and really say.. This is the bomb, I have a world-class stock now on the rig....not too shabby. Anyway I only got one decent pic , will try to get more later.
  24. I'm in really good with the Timeless shop and have a killer connect, and I'm totally bribe-able.
