  2. That would be EXCELLENT! He is an exceptional speaker. He is also known as RavDavid fromthe Urban Shooter podcasts. Please help spread the word. I appreciate it.

  5. Thank you. we'll look forward to seeing the video. Thank you for taping it for us.
  6. It was VERY encouraging, both to see the number of people who showed up, and the amount of agreement between the two senators regarding our fundamental human right to keep and bear arms. I have a much better feel for what we must do to accomplish our goal. Luckily, we have been doing it all along by building our membership and travelling around the state to introduce the NJ2AS to all of NJ's gun owners. It is going to take a concerted effort by a large number of dedicated people to accomplish our goal of making NJ a FREE rights respecting state. It is great to have people like all of those who showed up last night in our ranks. I hope as the word spreads about what we are doing, we can count of even more NJGF participants joining with us to MAKE THIS HAPPEN. "NOW IS THE TIME!!!"
  7. I would work for you for free, Maks. I believe that I should be paid for what I would be WORTH to you. :-)
  8. EXCELLENT Harry. I am looking forward to a large audience for Steve's presentation. We are also running the out of state CCW processing for those who are interested.
  9. I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the New Jersey Second Amendment Society's next event. On Wednesday, March 16, 2011 noted New Jersey Conservative, Libertarian leader and State Director of Americans for Prosperity, Steve Lonegan will address our members. Steve has a long history of fighting for the rights of individuals throughout New Jersey. He has a lot to say of interest to our members, and to the community at large. This is a Free and open event. You are welcome to invite family, friends and neighbors to attend with you. The event is being held at the American Legion Post 129 on 2025 Church Road in Toms River, NJ. There is plenty of parking and there is no admission charge. I strongly encourage you to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to hear this extremely important presentation. Ina ddition we will bring you up to date on our fight to have assembly bill A3807 (10 round mag limit) withdrawn as well as our progress with Operation Establish Compliance (OET). You will definitely be interested in what we have to say. For additional information please visit our website at www.nj2as.com. Thank you,
  10. Hi guys, the New Jersey Second Amendment Society recognizes the responsibility it has to bring the fight to protect gun rights from those who would infringe on them, into the Rod & Gun, and Sportsmen's clubs. We are aware that the members of these groups want information about how the anti-gun sentiment in NJ will affect them, and what they can do about it. I have met with and spoken to several of these groups and found that the gun rights groups like ours are not doing enough to include your members in the fight against the anti-gun movement. I would like to change that. If you belong to a group or club that would be interested in what we can do to make New Jersey a better State for hunters, sportsmen, collectors and firearms enthusiasts, PLEASE provide me with the contact information for your group, and I will handle the rest. So far, the message has been very well received among the members of these groups. We are beginning to mobilize targeted efforts in those Districts that have proven to be particularly unfriendly to gun owners. The NJ2AS is not only concerned with concealed carry. I know many people who are not personally interested in that aspect of gun rights, but who *DO* respect the rights of others. We want to make sure that we are also addressing YOUR concerns. We can do that by meeting with you and finding out how we can help each other. I hope you will take this into consideration. Please feel free to contact me directly here on this forum, by email at [email protected], or by calling me on my personal cell at (732) 233-6506. I realize that we are a relatively new group, but with your help I believe we will make a difference. Thanks for reading this far.
  11. That was an EXCELLENT story, Rob. It is GREAT to see someone of your caliber (no pun intended) present such an important course in NJ. I don't know how often you are in this area, but as President of the New Jersey Second Amendment Society, I would like to invite you to speak to our members at your convenience. We have monthly meetings throughout the state. If you would be interested in making a presentation to our organization, please feel free to contact me here, or at my email address [email protected]. I am certain that our members and the community in general would be extremely excited to have you speak at one of our meetings. Thank you
  12. Thanks for the info wojo. Also, I want to thank you for agreeing to help us with our programs to build membership. We *TRULY* appreciate the help, and I personally look forward to working with you.
  13. Thank you both for your explanations. It sounds like an organization that fits in with my philosophy almost perfectly. I am not current or former military, but respect and honor both for their service. However, I believe in Nature and the fundamental value of humans, rather than in God. Would that necessarily preclude me from participating. I have nothing against the belief in God, I have just found that in my life, the value of humankind does not depend upon the existence of God. I feel strongly that as the (currently) foremost creature of Nature, mankind has intrinsic value in and of him(her)self. Is there anything in your credo that would accept this explanation of the worth of mankind, or must it be based on a belief in God. Thank you,
  14. wojo - for those of us who are unfamiliar, could you please explain a little about what the "Oath Keepers" is about. Thank you
  15. OH Great. I do not yet know all the members by their NJGF ID's and missed your sig. I'll look forward to seeing you at an upcoming meeting.
  16. Hi Harry, The March meeting of the New Jersey Second Amendment Society will be held on Wednesday 3/16/2011 at the American Legion Post 129 on 2025 Church Road in Toms River. The meetings and CCW processing begin at 7:30PM. The featured speaker for the March meeting is Steve Lonegan, Conservative, Libertarian leader and the state director of Americans for Prosperity. You may remember Steve from when he opposed Chris Christie in the Republican primaries for Governor. In general, you can keep up with what is going on with the NJ2AS by visiting our website at www.nj2as.com. If you are interested in helping us regain our human rights as protected by the Constitution under the Second Amendment, please consider joining the NJ2AS at or before the March meeting. It will be the best $25 you ever spent. The CCW processing is being conducted by Anthony Colandro of Gun For Hire Firearms Training Centers. The members who have used taken advantage of this processing have been *VERY* pleased with the results.
  17. THANK YOU Dan, for the compliments. We REALLY try hard to bring interesting speakers to our meetings. We understand that it is important to inspire and energize our membership. For *WAY* too many years we have been beaten into submission by the liberal gun grabbers. Now it is *OUR* *TURN*!!! It isn't even a matter of *IF* we will do it. It is just a matter of WHEN. *THAT* will depend a great deal on how much enthusiasm we are able to generate among the community, and people like yourselves. The people that understand what RIGHTS are all about are *OUT* *THERE*. We just have to wake them *UP*. We can do it, and *NOW* *IS* *THE* *TIME*!!!
  18. This is very gratifying to hear. We are trying very hard to represent the interests of *ALL* NJ gun owners. We are a young organization, and will benefit from all the opportunities and challenges we face going forward. I know it is difficult to be patient, but some of what we are trying to accomplish WILL take time. If *I* were King.... well that is another subject. . Stick with us and we *WILL* affect changes with your help.
  19. Thanks Dan, We purposely keep the dues low to insure that anyone who wants to join will have the opportunity to participate as members, whether or not they are active firearms enthusiasts. We want to attract the average community member who believes in the same rights and freedoms we do. Now, having said that, if you are like *ME*, you blow at LEAST $50.00 or more every time you go to the range. (OK here comes the pitch). If you can afford to do more (and most of us can), we heartily encourage you to donate to the cause. This fight is DEFINITELY going to take money. The opposition has funds and they are willing to spend them to stop us. We have to be able to fight back. We are currently in the process of building up a "war chest", so every dollar helps. I will have much more to say about this in the near future. No one likes to beg for money, and I know people get tired of being hounded. I will try to keep this down to a minimum, but please understand we *DO* need your help. Thanks again to everyone who has contributed, and everyone who has participated. We are *JUST* getting started. NOW IS THE TIME!!!
