WTS Boyds Thumbhole stock for Marlin 60 in pepper laminate. I bought this unfinished and finished it using a minwax pecan stain and tung oil. Finish is a golden brown and not too shiny, see past pic. I, too, have a misdemeanor conviction on my record for a stupid thing I did when I was young. I listed it on my application, spoke to the detective, and was granted my FID and 6 psp's. Your arrest should not be a problem. Lots of people get arrested and nothing comes of it. Were you convicted?

Unless she has given you a specific camera she wants, I would suggest taking her shopping on the big day and let her choose. A day trip to B&H in NYC is always a good way to spend a day. Some people like the way Canon cameras feel, some like Nikon, some Olympus. Buying her a camera that she does not enjoy or a camera that does not fit her hand well could be wasted money. Kinda like buying a gun for someone...some like Glock, some like Beretta. Also, when it comes to pro results, the lens is what really matters. Good luck.

I would say a used .38, like a Smith and Wesson 14. Not to plug any specific shop, but NJ Firearms Guild in Rahway has a large selection of used Smiths.

I think i will go with mossy 20. Found a used one for just under $200. May jump on that or save up for a new one. Thanks for the idears.

Kaiser, Last I heard, Tips if turning the current shop on Rt. 9 into hardware store only. A new gun shop, with indoor rifle/pistol and archery range, is going up on Rt. 539, just off of the GSP exit 58. I see this place making a fortune during the annual Duck and Decoy show. No word on opening date.
