  1. 2% applies to the overall municipal budget. Revaluation, reassement can not increase taxes collected by the municipality. If you think you are assesed improperly file an appeal. Deadline to file is April 1.
  2. I know they have no blood, but will they freeze solid in the winter and thaw out in the summer?
  3. I am looking at getting this. http://www.amazon.com/Gallon-Storage-Barrel-Gasoline-Carrier/dp/B008CFTL64/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=WV0NMLPEWSGS&coliid=I22C5KJ8S60YW3
  4. An added assement was put on your house. File an appeal. You may only have 45 days from receipt of the notice. You can only appeal the added assment not the entire assement.
  5. I have taken hogs with 5.56, 30-30, Rem300 Ultra mag, and 9mm. 44 mag will do fine. Shot placement is more critical than caliber.
  6. Impossible to have a spirited debate, if you disagree with them the thread gets closed. HH refused to work with NJ2SA. Too many ego's, not enough cooperation.
  7. I have the 9mm carbine. Ugly as sin. It's reasonably accurate, reliable, clean or dirty, and for $300 with a laser it is an ok gun. I would buy another one.
  8. Name is Bob, and you guessed it, I like black rifles. And anything else that goes bang.
  9. Hiring more police is not the answer. The NJNG is not the answer. Until politicians realize that permanently removing the trouble makers is the answer, there will be no peace or safety for the law abiding folks.
  10. The democratic challenger may be Steve Sweeney. An admitted 2A supporter.
  11. NJCSD had some really great members. When it became obvious that conversation on the forum was " their way or not at all" I left the site. Hopefully they can get it back together.
  12. Not with an RPG. If the terrorist knew we were armed it would not have happened in the first place.
  13. The 2A is very clear, and you can travel state to state under protection of FOPA.
  14. Tioga Boar Ranch in Tioga PA. 4 of us went, 4 of use took boar ranging from 150 pounds to 180 pounds. Cost was $700 per person, which included 2 days 1 night, two meals, all gutting, cutting up and processing and put on ice in your cooler. I have more meat than I can fit in my freezer. Acommodations are typical rustic hunting camp, 3 bunk rooms 4-6 bunks per room 1 full 1 half bath, full kitchen and dining room. Food was good. The hunting is outstanding. My 27 year old daughter dropped a 160# boar at 80 yards with my Stag model 6 in 5.56. 70 grain soft point dropped it in it's tracks. 28 year old son dropped a 150# boar at 70 yards with a 30-30, too much gun, wastes too much meat. Daughter's boy friend dropped a 180 pounder at 20' with head shot straight on, with the Stag. I dropped a 160# at 100 yards with a Remington 300 Ultra Mag. Way to much gun. 5.56 is perfect. All 4 of us were first time boar hunters. I have hunted off and on for 35 years, first time hunting at all for the other three. If you can afford the cost do it. You will not be disappointed. Great way to introduce new hunters to the sport, as it provides instant rewards. Great way to spend a weekend with you kids. 5 hour ride from South Jersey, not bad at all. No experience needed, guides are great. If you want, they will let you gut the hog. Try it you will like it.
  15. I am going to Tioga Boar Ranch in Tioga Pa the 30 and 31st of this month. I will let you guys know how it turns out
