  1. Thank you! How do I know if the barrel is safe for drinking water?
  2. Hello Everyone, I was just wondering if anyone knows of a local SJ retailer or online reseller who sells 55 gallon water barrels at a descent price? Also does anyone know of a good method to collect rain water in the barrels or is the better to fill them up with a hose for drinking purposes. Thank you for your help!
  3. MidwestPX, And witches lets not forget about witches. (Wizard of Oz - Could not resist ) LOL!
  4. Vlad G, I thought it said on the legal to import list it said "No" for Saiga's. Am I accidently missing something here? I hope they are not banned but if they are these bans temporary?
  5. So all saiga rifles and shotguns will no longer be imported? Grr! I have been wanting a saiga 12 for years! What about the VEPR?

  7. Hello Everyone, I was just tossing around an idea about having a target shooting activity for our church. The activity could consist of take a group of people to a range and doing some clay target shooting. I was wondering if anyone has ever put together this type of activity at their own church? If so, how did you plan it and what are the legalities? Our church is located in South Jersey any many people around the area I believe are second amendment supporters. Would I have to put together waivers for this type of event? What would be safe group size? There are so much media attention from Church's today who are anti gun I thought it would be nice to have some support from the pro gun side. Any ideas would be appreciated!
  8. I would suggest ordering the one you want online and having it transferred into a local FFL dealer. Just make sure to get one with a cheap transfer rate such as Freedom Ammo in Mantua.
  9. I found a product at Walmart called Shave Secret it works great to prevent cuts and razor burn to your face. I think it also produces a smooth shave. Its under $4 a bottle and totally worth the money! http://www.walmart.com/ip/10324376?wmlspartner=wlpa&adid=22222222227000000000&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=41833582510&wl4=&wl5=pla&wl6=19880599990&veh=sem
  10. Hello Everyone, A friend of mine from church is looking to sell a piece of land that his father owns. His father is in his 80's and really need the money from the sale of the land to live on. My friend asked me to help with the sale of the property. I was wondering if anyone could recommend an inexpensive way to list the property online without someone taking a huge commission from the sale. The property is located on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland and has state land right next to it that on one can build on. Thank you for everyone for any help you can provide.
  11. Gun culture becomes part of your life and once its in your blood I think it stays there. Perhaps you need to get back out to the range to rekindle it again! I think if you sold everything in the long run you would regret it especially if the laws change and you are no longer able to purchase the same item again. Go have some fun one weekend with your friends and repost to let us know if you feel differently.

  14. The wait is annoying just veto it! The gun owners of NJ deserve better for the amount of hoopes we have a jump through. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
  15. My brother was thinking about putting together a reloading station. Do you perhaps know a local source where powder can be purchased? Does Cabelas sell it?
  16. I actually have been keeping my brass for quite some time now to for the purpose of reloading later. Wow! Its a lot cheaper to reload. I guess the most expensive part is the initial investment. Are materials such as primers, powder, bullets hard to find at this time? Thank you for your help!
  17. Thank you for clearing up the acronyms. I am thinking about getting into reloading. I might just have to try that load. I am curious what do you think it cost for 20 rounds of 30-06 reloads vrs factory new ammo?
  18. Everyone thank you for the information! T Bill, I wanted to ask you is that a hand load? Would you mind breaking down loads for me since I am a bit confused as to what all of it means.
  19. GRIZ, What grain should I be using? Between 150 and 180 which is better for hunting and long distance target shooting?
  20. Hi Siderman, Thank you very much! I did not know about this coupon.
  21. Did not know that! Thank you for the info. So I would need a larger caliber for bear? Is there any grain bullet that will work? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
  22. Thank you everyone for the replies. I checked out Sportsmen's Guide since they usually have good prices. Does anyone have a free shipping coupon code? I was also curious does anyone know of a local SJ dealer with good ammo prices or any current ammo rebates? Thank you everyone for the help!
  23. Recon Racoon, I am sorry to hear about your hours being cut! NJ is a horrible state for employment. Believe me I have been working freelance jobs for year and nothing has truly worked to obtain permanent employment. It is so frustrating! When you get out to the range I would truly enjoy hearing a range report and group sizes. Thank you again! Mikeythumbs, Thank you for the reply. I am curious why do guides not want you to use large grain bullets for bear? Do they not penetrate the hide? It might be odd but I kind of like the kick sometimes with rifles since unlike .22's it feels like I am shooting a real gun lol!
