  1. I got some pyrodex pellets to try (only 20 bucks, worth a shot hehehe) no caps to be found at cabelas though. And the customer service was a bit lacking tonight. Where's a good place to find caps? All they had were 209 caps, and got blank stares when asking about 210 caps. I'll definitely have to get a a capper too before I do anything. 2. Yeah. No. I'll be doubly sure to move it far away before firing.
  3. First one! I ordered some wads and waiting on those to come in. Going to back to Delaware on Sunday and pick up some powder and try and find caps. Any recs on powder?
  4. So, I went a bit crazy after Christmas and had some cash to get rid of. So no better time to go to cabelas! When I got there, I realize I forgot my Fid (like a dumbass). Not wanting to come home empty handed, I started looking at cap and Ball and muzzle loading guns. Ended up walking out with a Pietta 1860 New Army in 44 cal (along with another 150 dollars worth of ammo for my other toys). Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  5. So after almost 2 months of waiting, I got my holster! I ordered the left hand SA-XD 9 model and got exactly what I wanted. Ordered the standard paddle for it for an extra 10 dollars. I haven't had much time to play with it, but this thing is immeasurably better than the stock piece of plastic that comes with the gun. I love the retention strap, and adjustable level of retention on the holster it's self. It stays close to the hip and doesn't sag or move like the stock holster did. It honestly feels like there's no weight on my side. I'm suitably impressed by this holster. And by G-code's communication during the build process. If I get another pistol, I would not hesitate to order another holster from them. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  6. Excellent, because the only concern I have with the holster is the spring retention system in the thumb release. I just wanted to make sure this thing wouldn't fall apart on me if I ever needed to rely on it like my life depended on it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  7. Looking at picking up a G-code holster for my XD9. The price is right, I like the retention system they have and they're making their holsters for lefties (which is a must for me). Does anyone have a G-code holster and want to give me their opinion? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  8. Avoid AARP. I find they are one of the worst insurance companies to deal with. Between getting answers for patients and dealing with not covered drugs...
  9. We use damp-rid in the pharmacy because our hvac units drip water through the ceiling. It works. Very, very well. Depending on how moist the safe is, you can get as little as 2 weeks, or as long as a couple months before changing. Best part is, they're at the dollar store. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I wrote a comment on it. Sucks that we're limited to a certain amount of characters though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. The back of one of my mags split and I ran into this problem. Feed lips wouldn't hold the rounds in a double stack fashion and had failure to chamber and double feeds.
  12. I don't plan on going until like the end of August, early September because of how our vacation requests work. I'll look into the SW Virginia one. Want to head south a bit, but NH and Vermont are on my list of places to visit.
  13. So I need to get out of New Jersey and away from work for a few days. Any good places outside of New Jersey to just get lost in for a few days? (Getting lost is just figurative of course, I just want some peace, quiet, and solitude) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Farxiga, Belviq, and Contrave should be your absolute last option. Not only are the side effects hinky, but they are very costly. Some insurances won't cover them, or they're tier 3 and cost upwards of 300 dollars for a 30 day supply. If you want to go for surgery you HAVE to be committed to making the life style change work for you otherwise you'll be miserable. Your best option is changing your diet. Instead of processed sugars, start getting fruit. Cook with fresh veggies, cut down on carbs and fried foods. Slow changes are better than fast ones. Start by just replacing one or two things at a time, you'll be amazed at the difference it makes.
  15. Supposedly there was a small twister by DuPont down here. That's what messed up the country club and most of the area. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. It took me two tries to get the length right for mine. Started off with position three but felt to cramped up. Drilled and re pinned to position six and it's perfect for me. I'm 5'10" and shoot bladed. My advice on pinning is once you get the length set, drill through the stock first and mark the metal then take the stock off and drill your hole for the pin. 17. Without ear pro, I'd rather hear 5.56 over 7.62x39...shits loud indoors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. My contract with sprint is up in September. I'm going to switch to Verizon and probably get the droid turbo. I have a iPhone 5, and liked it but wouldn't go out of my way and spend the money for one. Only reason I have it now is a free promotional thing from sprint when I signed up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Yes, but we ARE better than him and we should prove it. As far as the tragedy goes, I shared a nj.com story about it. I'm trying to get people to spread it around and let the state know we have a right to live. If enough voices speak someone will listen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I'm heading to the liquor store in a few minutes to try something my manager recommended. Not your fathers root beer. Should be dangerously tasty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Built a 400k dollar gun range, and has two USP's modeled after the ones she had in tomb raider. Johnny depp is also pro-funs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Someone asked him what his three favorite guns were. His answer was Browning highpower, Kimber combat ii and Scar 17. Said he'd run out of enemies before he ran out of ammo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Vince Vaughn is pro gun, and now I found out Alton Brown from the food network is a hardcore 2A supporter. I have no words...
  24. I appreciate the offer. But I like collecting gun books lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B13XtSa3KhYqdFBVQXZROFU3eVk&authuser=0 Thats the complete parts list. The kits are just pins and springs. Easier to group them together like that than to buy piece by piece. Also working on the patience. My current career path is force feeding me patience dealing with the general public. This is something I want to get into. Just need the proper gear first. Also got the free brownells 1911 catalog. Waiting for the next check to get the 1911 bible.
