Yep, right on the nose Midwest + ogfarmer. Purely for tactical reloads.

Thanks for the quick replies. I keep my rifle mags loaded to 14 to allow loading on a closed bolt so I guess I am on the weird fringe. Checko, if you would not mind I would gladly take those off your hands. Just let me know how much shipping is! Thanks for carrying pinned mags Midwest, not the first batch I have ordered and certainly not the last.

Hi Midwest, Just placed an order for 5 pinned P-Mags and noticed that you guys no longer ship them with dust covers (because Magpul does not include them anymore). In the future will you guys be offering the dust cover/storage covers from your site?

A few days late with my reply, but Alpo hit it on the nose. 2 of the same platform is always a good idea. A deep familiarity with controls and idiosyncrasies is always crucial.

If your only handgun is a G19 right now and you use it as a HD/all round pistol I am going to go the unpopular route and say get another one. 2 is 1 and 1 is none.

Worst thing you forgot to bring to the range?

If it is functional it is functional. -
Went to The Bullethole weekly for almost half a year and have never had a problem. Again, not the most friendly staff but I find the RO (the older gentleman) hilarious. Very cold at first, but if you are going there regularly and adhere to the rules he is a pretty funny guy. Have not been there in a few months as I can not afford to shoot 300-400 rounds a week anymore and therefore make only a bi-weekly or monthly trip to Range 14 since my recent rifle acquisitions. Might be worth a return trip though. Again, not the friendliest but I feel like it discourages stupidity.

"screw on" rail panel options.. not picatinny snap ons..

This is all just for the sake of cosmetics? Do you have anything type of environment around you that warrants FDE? -
building my first AR. what "must have" items are i missing?

Do you have a plate carrier or some sort of chest/belt rig? Why the 15/30 over 15/20? Unless you have some kydex holders or some tacos you might as well save the room/space and get 15/20s for range work. -
What are you looking at so far? The Noveske KX3?

Delta ring.

Can a Factory pinned and weld be removed?

I thought it was commonplace for 14.5 inch guns to come with pinned muzzle device? -
Can a Factory pinned and weld be removed?
HKHockey replied to Clintoon Eastwood's topic in AR Discussion
Adco can do it but it will destroy the A2 or whatever it comes with. Not sure of any company that can remove it and leave the flash hider intact. -
If anything, breaking the shot off sooner in this situation is an advantage.
-
Not YNYK, but I have seen them go up on Rainier fairly regularly.
-
Yeah, the Gen2 lowers are something else. I should have sprung on one when they were floating around on the market. Regular or chainsaw, you cannot go wrong with one of those lowers.
-
Correct, DD no longer sells their lowers by themselves. There are some nice options for lowers out there though (KAC and Noveske come to mind).
-
Still have not heard this line of thinking anywhere. They are both identical in quality. Get whatever you can find in stock that suits your needs.
-
Reasoning behind this? Each are top notch. I see no reason that it would make a difference whether ordering a factory rifle or not.
-
Twisted? Are you talking about the helical fluting?

Centurion's new CMR seems to be receiving favorable reviews. It is like a rounder profile URX 3. http://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=130407

Yeah, the key is supposed to be staked in.

Over-gassed is more common than under-gassed. And over-gassing can cause over running of the follower.
