  1. I'm not sure about model but I use a .060 red FO front and black serrated rear. I love it. It definitely improved my accuracy and sight acquisition. Draws a lot of focus to the front sight and easily lines up with rear sight.
  2. This is awesome. Well done!
  3. In this write-up, he explains a couple different things like moving the pivot point of the trigger (I have not yet tried) and then changing the angle on the trigger spring mount on the trigger bar. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=52311
  4. I don't have a non-modified trigger bar to show side by side pictures of, but I'll explain it. The trigger spring hooks into the bottom of the trigger bar, which is set somewhere around 70° (guessing) and you want to heat it up and bend it closer to 90°. This takes up the slack in the spring and puts very little tension on it. I found this on a write up on Brian Enos forum. I'll see if I can find it. It has some pictures in there of what and how to do it.
  5. You'd lose that bet . Did you know a trigger bar is only about $17 shipped and offers you the ability to go from smooth trigger to ribbed or visa versa? We're spending the same thing while, I keep the reliability and you have light strikes. It also solves the mushy trigger that Gen 4's have compared to Gen 3. I'd be happy to let you shoot and inspect the gun. You'd find all factory parts and a trigger that breaks clean and easy.
  6. Why so many changes? All I did was change the angle of the trigger spring hook on the trigger bar with some polishing of the contact points and BAM! All factory parts, no light strikes, and I can still shoot GSSF and SSP with a 3lb trigger pull and have no issues with my trigger or firing pin safety
  7. HK VP9 appendix holster shown in Matte black. I only sell this color through one specific LGS.
  8. G17 paddle holster shown with my favorite toy, the S.I.R.T. training pistol.
  9. M&P C.O.R.E. with RDS and TLR1 wrapped in suede for a nice comfy feel.
  10. Excellent! Troy, my handle - "A-tech" - is because I'm an ASE master tech. Im just too lazy to take care of it. I was hoping Pete would just come wave a magical customer service wand and fix it for me. Appreciate the offer though.
  11. Totally unrelated to RTSP because I've only had great experiences there but, since Pete is solving problems.... My windshield is cracked. I work too many hours at the day job. I have too little money. I just found my first grey facial hair. Pete, can you help?
  12. This. Not to mention with a fiber front you can actually see a bit of the color even if you're in a dark room 10yds from a fully lit room. I literally just did it to see if I could see more than a silhouette of the sights. Everybody is going to have a different take on it, which is why I said YMMV. My personal opinion after drilling a bunch of different possibilities is that tritiums just don't serve enough of those possibilities to overcome the vast pro's of other sights.
  13. Just finished this for use in last Sunday's OB IDPA match. By far my favorite holster to date. Krypek Nomad and Baby Desert Eagle sure do start conversations for you.
  14. Here's something to think about that Vlad touched on. When using tritium sights (3 dot Trijicon was my primary sight set on my home defense pistol) they are really only beneficial in the dark. The problem with that is, if it's dark, you can't see your target or beyond it. What's the solution to that? Using a light...which washes out the tritium anyway. The only use I've been able to find for them is in one specific scenario: you hear a noise outside in the woods and take your pistol w/light to investigate. Using the pistol/light outside doesnt wash the dots out all that much and allows you to have a sight picture AND target acquisition. Other than that, I haven't been able to drill a scenario that made sense for using tritium sights in the home. I've since switched to Dawson fiber front and serrated black rear. It really draws your eye to the front sight and has lowered my times in daytime shooting games. YMMV
  15. These guys are usually pretty good with reloading supplies. Lots of knowledge there to. I picked up 4 lbs of cf223 and titegroup earlier in the year when it was impossible to find.

  17. It's a course centered around counter attack and fighting until you can get your firearm clear to neutralize. We'll be sparring, going over techniques, and using SIMs
  18. Is anybody else attending this 2 day course this weekend at RTSP?
  19. Im just seeing this thread, but I have a SIRT and love it. Adjust it to be similar to your pistols trigger and use it whenever possible. I keep mine in my desk at work and use it all day
  20. Honestly, never saw them before. Not very difficult to do either. Now that I've seen them, I'm going to play around with that design.
  21. Well, I don't have a degree and always wished I had a stepping stone to get into the industry. I have a few friends that work among the NRA and Mission First and I couldn't figure out how to become a part of the industry. And then I posted pictures here of a holster I made...now it's my secons job and I hope to make it a full time gig. I've already made contact with several other firearms retail businesses and have started to expand sales.
  22. I would use my laptop to put it where I would like, including my backyard. Also, you dont need access to every room in your house because you can turn virtually anything into a target. You can re-size IDPA type target on a pc and mount various targets simulating various distances, all in your living room. If you don't want to tape targets to the wall, you can use the software to outline things already in the room to mark them as your targets. If you dont hit within your outlined target, you get no shot reaction from the software, but it counts the miss.
