USA vs Kettler might be heard by the SCOTUS. The case is against the NFA, the basis being that it is a tax on a right. If it's granted certiorari, we may win. I feel that might help us in nj long term.

You're right! I do feel as though competing against people with decades of experience is intimidating. But if everyone is as cool as everyone here, it does sound very fun! That's very reasonable, the 5rd thing is bleh, but for the distance I could deal with it. It seems like a nice club, I'm going to give them a call this afternoon. If it doesn't work out for whatever reason, I think SJSC would be the next best thing!

Langhorne Rod and Gun club is 20 minutes away, but the waiting period is over a year as of now! SJSC sounds good, is it busy during the week? That's a great idea but closed on 3 of 4 of my normal days off! (shift work). I'm off Sunday too, but usually busy with family stuff.

What ranges are good for shooting steel with centerfire? Any advice is appreciated! I'm in Hamilton, near 295. I was thinking either EFGA or USANA. I would do CNJRPC but it's more than I would want to spend on a membership. Thanks ahead of time!

The people working for 2A organizations are more interested in booking outings and getting reimbursed for hotel rooms and rental cars than they are with their true mission. It's the same with my labor union, no fight and their main concern is just keeping their head above water so they can get reelected to another 2 year term.

Stick with a Miele. IMO bagged vacuums can't be beat. I had a refurb Dyson, it was fine but nothing compared to a Miele. Also a lot more quieter. Buy it at Bed Bath and Beyond with a 15% off coupon. They also throw in a $50 hepa cartridge.

Who told you all of this? Let me guess the TV right, or maybe a revisionist history book. Word of advice, go to an estate sale and buy a history book from the 1850's and read it. Things weren't all that bad in the past.

When I declared Republican, nobody in the room was polite to me any longer, and the booth operator starkly told me to stand back from the machine until I was told to approach it...I was the only voter in the room. I saw the stack of red and green tags, mine was the only red tag out of maybe 200 green tags. Considering seeing the amount of turnout at other places people posted, I would suspect voter fraud in my area, that would explain the extremely high number of green tags I saw on the stack of filled out tags. There were hundreds of them. Not kidding.

I just read the whole thread, and this post is very real. THIS IS WHAT WE'RE FACING VERY SOON. Also forget about us being able to renew online like the rest of the sheep population.

The legal system has failed us as a society. Go lenient on the hard criminals who contribute NOTHING to society, and throw the book at the normal cow that gets milked daily in the machine, NICE.

The problem is too many people don't know or care about their liberties being eroded. All they are concerned with is the elimination round on American Idol and 'The Harlem Shake'. We look like kooks trying to reach the masses with this message. They (.gov) know the whole system is built on a house of cards, and they will do whatever is necessary to stay in power, including dealing with US.

Maybe it's what they want all along?
