  1. i bought a S3G trigger for my new build. if you the the SSA is sweet you should try the S3G. i know is supposed to be a "competition" trigger but i have a feeling it will work very well for hunting and target shooting also. its just smooth until it breaks and the reset is nothing.
  2. BWW is a pretty shitty place if you ask me. They are way to damn expensive and filled with those a-hole tap-out wearing MMA wannabe meatheads. Plus, I've had better wings at some dive bars I've been to. If you want some awesome wings and a great selection of beer head out a little past Tanners on Rt. 263 on the right hand side there a place called the Jamison Pour House. order the Jamison wings and you wont be disappointed.
  3. There was one narrow path out to each target backing at the rifle range yesterday.
  4. so did this happen? because it needs to happen again if i missed it. smoking cigars and talking guns sounds like a great way to spend a saturday or sunday.
  5. do you have one already? i'm surprised you didn't offer to buy it...
  6. only thing keeping me here is work. but i'm getting pretty fed up with my job so well see how much i can save to get out of here by the fall. looking at florida or north carolina. but the cool nc in the mountains not the crappy parts filled with nj transplants near the coast or cities.
  7. well no guns are legal. there are just certain exemptions where we are allowed to possess them...

i do my research before i buy anything. and while a 1 of 50 M11B does sound sweet, i'll never be able to afford one. i heard the last few on GB went for like $5-6000. and sig just let them go for $1000 MSRP each to the dealers that wanted them. i bet some guys bought them and didn't even know what they got because sig didn't advertise them at all from what i can gather. i wish i could be that lucky once in a while... now the only issue i have is finding more 229-1 mags for under $50. it does look like sig stopped producing them for some reason...

which are you talking about? the M11-A1? the A1 is basically a 229 with phosphate parts on the inside and the SRT trigger. the M11B is the one that was made for the govt. that they decided they didnt want. but because the contract stated they cant sell the M11 to the public they just added a B to the roll stamp and and the were allowed to sell them. there were only 50 made that way. the 228 is the civilian version of the M11. it doesnt have the phosphate internals. the M11, M11B and 228 only have 13 round mags while the M11-A1 has the 15 rounds of the 229.
  10. no but one is not needed to own or use one. if the unlikely event of you being questioned about it just say you lost it. no one will think twice about it. FFS some people take this shit way to seriously.

for $800 you could buy it now. that doesn't seem like a bad price.

  14. is there a specific reason you want the quad rail instead of a handguard? i just ask because i find quad rails chew up my hands and are more uncomfortable in general to shoot with. but if you have lights and gadgets or just like them better then thats your personal preference. you also need some sort of sights. i dont know if you picked what you want and just didnt add them to the list or not.

i want one too or one of the M11Bs, but i'm not that lucky. this is more like a 229 than a 228 though. it is really nice tho. i didn't like it at first but i gave it a second chance and it felt better. i went back to the store like 3 or 4 times and it just kept growing on me. its my first sig and my first 9mm. hopefully it will perform like the ones i've read about during my research.

if you're referring to the first pic. no it's just a reflection off the case and some leftover oil on the back of the trigger. good eye though i didn't even see that until you said something

well i got the call this morning that my NICS went through from yesterday. here she is... now its time to start looking for a holster. I'll be hitting up EFGA tomorrow.
  20. doubt it. and they are still backed up from the snow storm. so much for it being INSTANT.
  21. Its not really plinking ammo. This stuff is on the higher end of the spectrum. They are known for producing some of the best commercial 10mm loads on the market. Thats why its so expensive. This is more along the lines of stuff you would carry in the woods while hunting, fishing, hiking, or camping.
  22. In my expierence, you get what you pay for. I wouldn't buy one of these becuse the real ones cost almost $70 more on average. So how is AIM making theirs so much cheaper? I personally don't want to find out.
  23. lous classic firearms in raritan had 2 on tuesday. (one might have been a 9mm) check their website.
  24. really? i just picked up a M11-A1. well i put my NICS paperwork in since they were backed up today due to the snow storm yesterday so i should get the call tomorrow. but i've heard good things about their CS. care to explain a little more?
