  1. IF there were an issue with your backround that would cause a denial, your SS number would have no impact on the decision.
  2. 13 years and never once submitted a SS number on a NICS check. Also - I would bet he never spoke to the NJSP or the NICs unit because I just talked to the senior Supervisor at NICs and she said absolutely not required. Your FFL is full of shit!
  3. SS number is NOT required to submit a NICs check - time for you to find a new FFL.........
  4. Welcome to the Machine! If we can be of service - Please feel free to reach out........ JT
  5. My heart goes out to you and your family. The loss hurts, but time will heal and memories are forever..............
  6. There is a big difference between making a fair margin and gouging. Also - the Dick bought Ammo post was a Joke - get over it.......
  7. Dick bought his ammo at 7.99 a box back in 2015 Dick has 10,000 rounds in his garage Dick is now trying to sell it for 19.95 a box Don't be a Dick.................
  8. He isn't going to have any problems as long as he doesn't actually get two HG's in the same 30 day time frame........
  9. True, but a dealer should ask when dealing wit ha new customer because the newbies don't always know the law. It's the professional thing to do - jmo
  10. OK - Here is your best case senerio: Take the date you picked up the fist HG (Dealer A) Ask Dealer B what the date was that your second NICs was approved? IF you can squeeze 30 days in between A&B you can p/u the 2ng HG on the 30 th day (NICs is good for 30 days) IF (and most likely) not able to get 30 days between them, the 2nd dealer (Dealer B) will need to run another NICs check on you and you will be charged for the second check. I will say that BOTH dealers should have asked you if you have purchased a HG in the past 30 days. Dealer B will most likely blame you, but ultimately it is/was his responsibility to ensure you hadn't purchased a HG withing 30 days prior to his Nics going in............
  11. If the ATF has any question on the NJ Retail Lic they can / will contact the NJSP Firearms Unit. Go ahead and get your Federal Application in process, that is going to take a little while considering all the backlogs with covid...... Again - Best of Luck! JT
  12. NO - NICS has a record of your last NICs check and if the FFL submits before the 30 day rule the request will com back denied. Then your name goes on a list and at some point the NJSP contact you to scold you over the phone and tell you if you do it again they can pull your FID card...............
  13. Copper shortage......................
  14. Taurus 856 Revolver .38 spl. Tactical Black 2" BBl. 5-Shot Comfort Grip Double / Single Action $399.00 Great Home Defense Gun!
  15. What customers (in general) need to understand is that if your FFL puts in YOUR NICS check, it will take approx. 3 business days to come back (not including the day it was submitted, Sundays or holidays). Then once the FFl has it back he has to schedule you to come in. He may have 10-20 people who's nics are approved ahead of you scheduled, so you get pushed back a couple days in the waiting line. It's not like it was back in the day - EVERYTHING is backed up.......................
  16. Once you submit - you get a "Billing number" in the confirmation e-mail
  17. Palmetto makes an excellent AK - problem is they stopped making AK's and ramped up production on AR's because AR's are less expensive to build and have a better profit margin for the mfg. AK's in general are on B/O everywhere - we have Arsenals in stock, and are the only dealer in NJ authorized by Arsenal to do compliance work on their rifles. Anyone else making an Arsenal NJ Compliant automaticly voids the warranty (FYI)
