  1. I guess FNH started releasing a new batch, I see more and more 5.7 MKII coming up for sale.
  2. it's funny that not too long ago, they couldn't give it away.... now it's like the hardest pistol to get...well...at a reasonable price. we'll see if the new version will ever come out...
  3. plenty of uppers that are available right now, at least compare to two months ago. price is a big factor as they go from PSA ($600ish) to HK ($1900). also, you need to decide if you want DI or Piston. one thing is for sure, this will not be your last build.
  4. it's funny while I was reading this thread, this poped up on slick gun...talk about timing. http://www.slickguns.com/product/gfg-gunslinger-gig-case-guitar-shaped-gun-case
  5. curious if the following method would be considered permeant and non-reversible. saw a guy did it on youtube for his AK mag. he measured a piece of wood, use it as the base. he then count the coil of the spring and and cut it, put them together and assembled the mag. then pin it or glue it. this way, if it was ever disassembled, due to the cut spring, it will not function as a mag at all since the spring was cut.
  6. my local PD was surprised how long it took when I explained to him why I need to extend my permit. He was not happy either when I told him he might see others coming back for extension due to NICS.
  7. so the criminals in CA only run around shooting people with bullet button equipped rifles now? it goes back to my point, what does that really accomplish besides making gun owners life harder?
  8. with the NICS fiasco, isn't it more like OGTwoM now? LOL
  9. out of all the dumb CA law, one of the dumbest one is the so called bullet button mag release... what does that really accomplish besides make gun owners life harder? on the other hand, it does create sub market and ppl making good money by selling this...LOL
  10. slip 2000 plus one of the otis kit used this to clean all my guns with good results. slip2000 smells pretty good too..LOL
  11. thanks for the link! very useful info since I'm about to send my gun.
  12. how about this situation? NICS approved on Day #24 Gun picked up on Day #30 Does OGAM start on Day 24 or Day 30?
  13. I live in an apt and we have daily ups/FedEx delivery and pick up. Will I be able to ship my pistol for service this way, or I have to go to one of the hubs?
  14. take a drive to PA, Sunset Hill Range. http://sunset-range.com/index.php it's really not that far and price is reasonable. extremely friendly and helpful for first time shooter. We had a group of 5 and three are first time shooters.
