i heard there may have been a tornado touch down in wash. twp. my neighbors phone was ringing off the hook last night. he's a tree guy. my shop lost electricity, along with most of the area of town around 630'ish. i dunno what time it came back. home had no electric till 3am. a house down the street from my had a tree land in it i heard, but didn't go down to confirm. i'll do that tonight.

couple possibilities. nose diving usually tells that something's wrong in the front. you could have either a seized caliper on the opposite side of the pull(causing the other one to do most of the work), or a blocked brake hose. but i got a question for ya. when it pulls, what does the steering wheel do? does it move in direction of pull? or does it stay the same? or does it move opposite the pull?

no it's not. they just can't handle facts. if they let facts in, then virtually ALL of their discussion points become instantly invalid. they simply cannot admit that they're wrong.

there's a page over there called american firearm policy discussion. marcus max started it. i'm still on it. i see very little any more though, 'cause most of the antis that were on there blocked me when i'd come in with facts. ya can't fix stupid. that saying exists for a reason.

this is gonna sound stupid....but don't knock it unless ya try it. try a hypnotherapist(for the eating part anyway). they've done very well helping a couple of my friends quit smoking.

i know that, and you know that. co and ct both have restrictive guns laws. the antis don't care about that. sc has pretty open guns laws. they will use this.

it's very simple really. do you trust them to walk amongst yourself, and those you love? if so, then you should be able to trust them with a firearm(after all they operate a weapon every day more than likely anyway). if you cannot trust them with a firearm, then they should still be in jail. there will be exceptions to this rule.

ima gonna follow your advice on that sir. and also, i will reitirate for jkg's peace of mind.....i am not looking to do anything illegal.i'm too young and virile to go to jail, lololol. i simply want simple and easy. cb's if i can get a little range fill that gap nicely.

the repeater's getting a bit outta my range, knowledge wise. i'm gonna find a base cb to keep here at the house.....or i'll simply use a mobile unit, fed through a 12v power inverter.......and mount a decent antenna on the roof..........

somehow i missed this last time through.....why were they against cb's?

i think djg's torqued 'cause of the guy earlier that was offering illegal document fakes. i ain't looking for illegal. Carcano......i have an antenna that looks like that on my shop. the guy i bought it from was a bit into cb's, and had had it installed. what do you mean by properly installed concerning the mobile antenna? as in what would be necessary on my truck?

no, i'm not that guy dude. i want no-hassle comms, and to me getting a license to communicate is a hassle.

i've never liked the generalization of "felon". you can become a felon for writing a bad check. should that really preclude you from voting or owning a firearm?

i know this is a ham radio thread.......but that means there's bunches of guys in here in the know. what's opinions on cb? just looking for a max of 9-10 miles, and prefer to not need to depend on repeaters or get a license......

they don't seem to care about firearms in possession already. the article i read on this said he had a few older rifles already, but that the chief refused him any new permits. the article i'd read didnt' say anything about any charges against him though...just that she was a drug addict........either way, in my understanding of the laws, if the guy has nothing on him himself, they cannot refuse him these permits......

1) if these people really thought that computers were untouchable, they should be fired, and locked away in a loonybin for the rest of their lives. 2) i think the federal govt is immune to lawsuits.

so would any of us. the point is for him to realize WHY there's protesting going on in front of his house. to bring the issues that he's helped perpetuate to his front doorstep.
