  1. where do we find the applications again? do we need to get them from our local pd, or is there a place to download them?
  2. ok. dumb question. say the op was bringing it to the range, which was also an ffl, to sell it to them? or does it have to be shipped to them?
  3. some of us don't have that 10's of thousands of dollars. but i(as mentioned before) will join in if i see an organized effort to file a serious number of carry applications........
  4. i think that what may need to happen, is that a bunch of us......like a thousand or more......will need to apply within a very short period of time. of course, we'll all be denied. but then i think we can(should) all be added onto that case, as nj will then have more denials than permits, putting the approval rating into negative numbers.
  5. that's the unwashed masses for ya. when they first publicized them in south jersey, i was using the courier post article as proof of what i'd said. when they said i was crazy, i showed them the article. it was mostly bragging about how much money glouster twp had brought in in the first 6 months of using them. there wasn't a single word about whether or not they seemed to have been improving safety at the intersections. they generally walked away silent, 'cause they had nothing at that point.
  6. that happened a bit here in south jersey. i think it was the light at blackwood/clementon rd and little glouster rd......many people came to total stops, made the right, and got tickets in the mail.
  7. yea, 'cause we all love it when some tard stands up on his brakes for an amber light because he's afraid that that camera will go off even though the light's not read.
  8. if you own the business, then just secure them as per the law, and i think you should be ok.
  9. i think you meant co2? co2, for those that don't know, is not a pollutant, nor is it the worst greenhouse gas, as we're being told.
  10. ha! wouldn't it be nice if we could go down to the corner store, and pick out a new body?
  11. i'm still invincible. at least that's what i keep telling myself.
  12. that's the problems i have. i can see nearly everything from my 3/9 line around to in front of me. with my eyeglasses on, i actually have misjudged things in my own dam house, and walked into things that i normally wouldn't. it sucks, lolol
  13. YEA......i have a lot of problems without my peripheral when i put my eyeglasses on......
  14. i'm 52. the contacts i wear right now are multi-focal. i don't need "old guy" glasses with these. with my eyeglasses, i do have trouble seeing very close. i opted to not get bi-focals for those, as i only wear those at night when i take the contacts out. so yes, i understand i'd still need "old guy" glasses if i had the lasik done. there was also one that my eye doc told me about...forget what he called it, but essentially, they peel your eyes lens back, and insert a lens underneath.....this he said is adjustable, and reversible. as it is now, i'm blind as a bat without corrective lenses.......
  15. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ what he said.
  16. pretty straight forward question, with probably not so straight forward solutions.....but what do you guys who need vision correction do for shtf? as it is now, i wear contacts, and own a single pair of eyeglasses. been considering lasik, so i won't need correction....but am pretty much afraid to let anyone mess with my eyes like that.......
  17. i might hafta apply for a couple p2p's and see if my town changed the process there......if i do, i'll be going armed with multiple copies of the 30 day statute which i will hand in with the applications.
  18. just heard this on the radio a few minutes ago. sad to hear.
  19. on that note, i almost always have a firearm in my vehicle. of course, it's secured per transportation laws....but it's there. i carry here at the shop, and at home. here, a couple customers have spotted it when i'd bend over to put the lift under a car. they always ask why. i then have my excuse to explain the absurdity of our laws, which i do calmly and professionally. then i remind them that it's my one of my rights that hasn't been stolen from me yet. most get it. one lady and her husband may be coming shooting with me this summer because of that. as for the cost....yea. i get arrested, and spend time in jail? my business is gone, as i'm a one man show. my home will follow, 'cause i can't pay for it without my business. so i gotta be careful how/what i do.
  20. i'm 52. but the law is an illegal law when you look at it. yet we all obey it. i know for dam sure i ain't gonna go meet bubba and his soap......
  21. bolded........then why are none of us carrying? it is our right. yet none of us do. because we're not being granted permission. if we need permission, then it is not a right, but a privilege. that right was given away by our predecessors.
  22. as soon as i see a couple thousand people actually submitting their applications for ccw, i will join in.
