Are there any members here from chester? I'm looking at a house in chester and wanted to see how friendly the pd was and if they actually issue fid and p2p cards on time or hassle people? Also, I can't seem to find a firearm discharge ordinance on their books, anyone have any info on that? Assuming I have some space, can I shoot in my backyard?

Across the river in America, perfectly legal. In NJ it's considered manufacturing. -
Amazon is awesome from a buyers perspective but blows as a seller. I got gipped out of $600 that I'll never see again.

I think it happened around the same time as George Zimmerman so it got buried.

Used to be. got taken off the market

Really broad topic. It all depends on what you want to do. Sightseeing, adventure, beach, etc. What's your budget? How long can you go for? Fly, drive, cruise? Give us a little more detail

You could create a faux taper crimp by just removing the bell from the case using a roll crimp die. Don't go overboard and it'll have the same function.

Cabelas.com had them about 2 weeks ago. I got myself a set. Just have to be vigilant and set up alerts with all of the major retailers.

why is shopping for a new helmet so hard? GAHHH!!
mikeyjones replied to pbkid6974's topic in General Discussion
To add to that, the foam also degrades with time. You should replace your helmet every 3-5 years -
Agreed 1000%. Just saying that not everyone sees it that way and people cheap out and/or don't do enough research.
-
Yes but not everyone does their research and can afford a dog from a reputable breeder.

Look at scorpion helmets. They are very affordable and have the majority of features that the other major brands have. -

Going to visit family in Mass and NH

I called nh and my buddy called ma. What a world of difference an imaginary line makes. I can bring whatever I want into nh and open carry without Amy paperwork. In ma, he can bring a long gun as long as its approved but that is confusing itself. He's just going to take his shotgun and leave the rifle. -

Seems like long guns may be ok. I'm trying to get clarification on that since my buddy is going up there and wants to bring his shotgun and lever action rifle. -

Each helmet brand is better fitted to a certain shape of head. The Arai's and Shoei's didn't fit me very well, but I found Scorpion to work beautifully, and for the price I can't complain. Go to a store and try a few brands on. However, stay away from the lower end ones (HJC, Icon, etc). Scorpion is the only "budget" brand I'd consider as they're Bell tested and DOT certified. -
I'm actually waiting on my puppy to be born any day now. I will be picking it up Sept 6. I went through a lot of research selecting a breeder and had some trials and tribulations along the way. PM me if you want to know who to stay away from in NJ, would rather not lambaste them in a public forum.

What's shipping come out for each?

I've used primer brands interchangeably for shotguns as well. However, there are 2 caveats to watch out for. 1) 209A primers != 209 primers. 2)European primers are a tad bit larger so if you use those in your reload, the hull won't accommodate American primers as snugly next time around.
