both! lol I just got my ak yesterday. ill get an sks down the road. sks and aks have all gone up. a used sks is hard to find for under 300 in decent shape, unless you want a cracked stock Chinese one..then maybe 250 at a show. you can get a bare bones wasr ak for about 500 and change if thats what you want.

Weld on my saiga 7.62 brake is great. Was a blast hanging out talking guns.

I love buying ammo online...they know less of the nj laws then we do lol. Bulk ammo wants a copy of my fid for rifle ammo. Not that need it to sell me any ammo from outside nj.

I was under the impression a forward grip is an evil feature so a muzzle device, pistol grip, and removable mag adding the forward grip would make it an assualt weapon. This is my understanding from what iv been TolD and read. If I'm wrong (and probably am) please let me know what the law acutally says.

Is that forward grip legal?

Must be the new onewe ordered it from amazon the other day. I dropped the mount on the floor and not even a scratch. Its all metal. Got some weight to it.

We ordered that vortex 3x. Its pretty nice. Got it mounted last night. The stock mount isn't terrible. Can't wait to get it to the range.

I ordered the saiga. They got more in stock but the price jumped. I had it added to my cart when I noticed it jumped in price so I pulled the trigger. I'm not thrilled with the price but I got exactly what I wanted.

Yeah I'm really digging the converted saiga. Just need them to come in stock asap. Lol. I know. I have 3 so far. I'll prob get more next time I buy ammo.

eh I changed my mind. Id rather have a Russian ak variant, or the wasr 10. im going full out or cheap lol. we will see what happens this week.

My dad got an NJ legal stag arms ar 5.56/.223 for 800 bucks and I'm looking at an ak variant in 7.62x39 for 600-700 ( you can get a wasr 10 cheaper) only reason I'm going AK is the ammo is cheaper overall . I have an Beretta m9 and I agree don't get a 9mm as your first rifle. Def get a real rifle caliber rifle. good luck!

So I got 200 rounds of 7.62x39 3 tapco 10rd ak47 mags and a hogue grip now I just need a rifle lol. I'm pretty set on the saiga bak 132 from Atlantic. I think its worth spending a little more on my first rifle to get exactly what I want. But if they are still out of stock this time next week I think in going to order the wasr 10.

Thanks for the input. Am I right in assuming the wasr 10s are better quality then then ones from a few years ago ? Iv read a lot of bad things but they are all from 2011 back.
