That's completely possible. They do charge a fee for items over a certain weight. Also, no worries...I've been ordering through them for years.

They have never had a handling fee in any purchase I've made from them. My totals always have equaled the cost of merchandise only. I placed about 6 orders towards the end of last year so that's recent enough that I doubt it's been chanced since then. Maybe you ordered a long time ago when they used to use this practice?

Completely agree! I probably have more cases of water then ammo. Nourishment should be #1 requirement to survive.

I am a member yes, but I buy other stuff besides ammo that makes up for the membership cost. So that point is moot. Also I do buy some ammo local, but why should I put all that I purchase out there for everyone to know? We can get into a discussion if our wonderful government will use those books against us all we want but the point is that it's logged regardless if we want it to be. This isn't a discussion for what PRNJ can see and what not...I was only asking if anyone has shot this ammo before and if it's dirty or not.

I'm going to go with, there's never enough. Honestly, if you can afford it and it's a good deal, what;s the reason to NOT stock up and save it? Worst case scenario you bug out and take what you can. Best case scenario you have plenty to defend your home/family for years to come. Unfortunately right now I'm in an apartment so my storage capabilities are limited. I still am stocking what I can in case it's needed. If I had a house and room to reload then I would think if there's room for more ammo and I had the cash, I'd make it.
