So who was the fella across the street from Austin in the Green split level house on Lehigh Ave.....did work in the basement.....Hmm....maybe John.

The action on my 19 is unreal.......met Cirillo with another fella myself at Ray's one evening...didn't know him at the time but listened to him tell a story about a big fella who took a 12ga. slug CM in a supermarket robbery and ran out of the place with Jim on his tail....guy dropped on the sidewalk. Wished then I knew who he was as I do today...

There's only one rule............WIN.

Yup......Austin was great., Lehigh Ave. in Union...he did an Armaloy finish and trigger job for me on a Custom Model 19 ....don't breath on the trigger in the cocked position...talk about a pistol smith. There was also a fella working out of his home just across the street from Austin, his name escapes me but he had major metal working lathes and machinery in his basement....he did some rifle work for me back then also.

I was the RSO sometimes in the evening as I worked in the store part time....they cleaned the lead out every other day, swept up the brass every morning .....not many problems back in the mid 70's.

NJ and Corruption.....like Bacon and Eggs.

I don't associate with folks like that...don't need the headaches after all these years.....been through it. For every gun toater that moves out of Jersey...100 middle eastern immigrants move in.

Pedersoli ............Yup.....actually when I was with Morgan's Riflemen for a brief stint, Wm. Shipman made my rifle, back then 4600.00 .........didn't drop it to much.

This is all BS......the only way it will ever be made right is through the Fed. and that is not likely to happen....OMO. New Hampshire being an Open state, I thought residents do not need a permit.....so, now they must pay 100 bucks to get a state permit to carry in Pa.....BS.....OMO.

None of my business but I find it interesting that a NJ firm let's you carry at work.....guess your licensed to do so....also I figured that ammo might be a little tough down there...anyway, back to the post. Wood, water, dry goods, fire starting materials, batteries and lanterns / candles.

So the firm you work for let's you arm yourself or was this just for your protection.....and how did ya know with that hurricane threatening mags and ammo could be bought ...?

Yup............I found dry firewood and water to be the most important along with dry goods to cook and candles / lanterns. Yup, all ya heard at night was the sound of generators off in the distance.....a sure sign someone was home. .....also having our big male GS as a first alert was well worth owning a dog.
