Excellent observation Peel, my only gripe about GFH is their pricing. Especially for rentals: 20 or $25 per each handgun + $29 box of ammo. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Yes, other manufacturers caught up and surpassed Glock. BTW, my wife has the VP9, which I knew someone will bring up. I just don't _like_ it with no particular reason. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk -
After I realized that my G19 is actually like shooting 2x4, I decided to buy something more ergonomic that I can use as range toy and as a go to gun for training. So I got my permits and went to RTSP to try a few guns. Here is what I had on my short list (no particular order) : S&W m&p 9 5" (rtsp only had 4") Springfield xdm 5.25" PPQ m2 5" (rtsp only had 4") CZ 75b here are my impressions: 1. They all light years ahead of G19 in terms of ergonomics, quite possibly M&P was the best one and aggressive grips are actually fine when shooting. 2. Accuracy 1: M&P and XDM are comparable to Glock, i would put them in the same category, with my limited experience they good until 10 yards. Past 15 yards, in my hands it doesn't look pretty. 3. Accuracy 2: CZ 75b and PPQ 4" are much more accurate, I got groups that never expected and rarely achieve with G19 no matter how much I train. 4. Triggers: they all are not bad. The M&Ps was surprisingly good. Also, I finally understand why people prize the PPQ, but it's scary light, so I'm not sure it would be good for non-controlled environments. You know what I mean CZ's trigger was good, somewhere between PPQ and M&P. I summary, by now you may have guessed my order of preference: 1.CZ 2. PPQ 3. M&P Finally, I decided to buy the CZ sp-01 if I can find it. Just wanted to share my opinion, it may help someone. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Can't you just different color grips? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk I meant can't you just buy different color grips? And if you would sell it, for how much? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

I test drove all variants of this car, and I have to admit that Trailhawk was the best one. Close second came Limited with 18" wheels. I decided to go with the Limited + Lux Group 2 for one main reason: off road tires on Trailhawk extended it's breaking distance. so I preferred safer truck over cool factors. Lux 2 gave me ventilated seats which I wanted. I will see how this car performs so far 3 days, I like it. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Projected reliability rate is mediocre for both Disco and the Jeep but if you lease them, you have warranty service and good "exit strategy"

Having learned a bit more about topic, I understand that you are right GRIZ. Just to share, I narrowed down my choices to a 3 potential SUVs: Forums' favorite: Grand Cherokee - I test drove Overland and I want to test drive Limited and Trailhawk just to see the difference. And there is a 4Runner and Land Rover Discovery Sport. will see if I like them.

Should also mention Lexus GX 460 (Land Cruiser Pardo outside of US) in $53k it's cheap comparing to her big sister

Once again, a collective wisdom rules. I really appreciate your comments. I will focus on something I will able to drive comfortably (relative term) in North East. And, if it comes with 4LO that will be a bonus nor a requirement.

So, If I understand correctly, except for Wharton State Forest there aren't too many off roading options in NJ/PA. The Rausch Creek is too difficult/harsh for primary driver. I was looking to test drive Grand Cherokee Trailhawk but from what you saying the Limited with standard 4LO/ 4WD options will suffice for NJ trails? Unfortunately I cannot afford having daily car + toy car.
