HE what kind of steel mags are you running. The Croatian mags i picked up needed too much work to get them to lock up. I must have been grinding away material for 45 min to make 2 mags work.

cut off the tang and don't look back. lol it really is an easy fix to put another one back in for resale value. Im not selling so i didn't care. the tang is held in with 2 rivets..thats it. you can drill them out if you don't want to cut it off but thats a lot of work. 2 mins with the Dremel and i was done. great looking stick!

It's a command arms aktm. You will need to remove the lower tang if you don't want it exposed. I know a lot of people cringe when they here i cut off the tang but they cost $7 and I can alway put another one in if needed.
