As a hunter, your suppose to look identify what your shooting at. i never shoot towards houses even if their 450 feet away, and always make sure theres a hill behind the deer to stop said buck shot. But not surprised us good hunters have always paid the price for dumbass who should retake the hunting course every year.

The Bolt and firing pin is made for 7.62x39. might replace the hammer spring in the future but 2 out of 200 rounds i can deal with. :-)

Thanks i will get them fixed :-) Im using Wolf 7.62x39mm FMJ. Got home started cleaning and was expecting a really dirty action/bolt and surprised that it wasnt bad.I used slip2000 EWL to clean/lube so i just took a rag and wiped the bolt/ etc and it wiped off clean, then lubed it again :-) i took 200 rounds and only 2 refused to fire. after repeated striking the primer.but i got 1k for 199.00 so cant complain too much.

Took my AR-47 to the range today for the first time since completing it figured id share it with yall! some pics Two vids shooting it pt 1 shooting it pt 2 Overall i am Happy! Out of 200 Rounds shot today only had two non fires, after striking each round 3 times each to get it to fire, came to the conclusion its not the rifle but the round/primer issue as all the other went off with ease. I read alot of ppl saying the 7.62x39 AR's were "problem Childs" but i didnt have any problems. Just do your research. :-) If you catch me at the range dont be skerred come say hi. im friendly ;-)

I have been to other shops and been treated like a number. come in pay fill out pappers etc. Totally different at Mastodon tho, Awesome Folk there! I bought a Ar15 lower and 2 pistols there and will continue to buy from them. I tell all my friends and family to go there.

Hey Guys and Gals, I am building a AR and i know the adjustable stocks have to be pinned and welded. But i bought a Magpul Stock MOE FCS Fixed Carbine AR-15 Stock. that is held in place by a nut and bolt. The stock is tight up against the Castle nut. And i read on the reviews on the site that a fellow NJer used it and when he went out to pa he liked it cuz he could remove it and use a adjustable. So my question do i still need to get this pinned and welded? seeing how even if u loosen the nut and bolt the only way to affix the stock is tight with the castle nut. like you cant loosen and slide it back like the adjustables. Thanks for your advice :-)

Hmmm he asked is this a dem or rep practice? bet if it was a dem nothing would happen. Another nut job dem. in my opinion. but i thought dems were against guns? dont make sense a gun hating dem using them? I call for the Ban of Dems.

Parts List: 16" 7.62x39 BARRELED UPPER - OMEGA 15" SERIES with Shark Muzzle Brake - 5/8" x 24 TPI Upper Receiver A4 Upper Receiver M4 Feed Ramps Black Hardcoat Anodized Mil-Std-171 Type III Precision Machined to Mil-Spec Tolerances Forged From High-Grade 7075 T6 Aluminum Mil-Spec Forward Assist and Ejection Door Barrel 16" 7.62 x 39mm 1x10 MIDWEIGHT MELONITE NITRIDE BARREL Gas System Carbine Length Stainless Steel Gas Tube .750 Low Profile Steel Melonite Gas Block Hand Guard Omega 15" Free Float - White T Marks on all four rails. OMEGA / VECTOR END CAP Shark Muzzle Brake - 5/8" x 24 TPI First I Bought my upper from MAS Defense website. Took it to my gun shop to pin and weld the Muzzle Break As NJ Law. Went to Gander Mountain Store Closing and picked up a nice 2.5 MOA red dot scope Heres what it looks like it on the upper and upper on the lower Looks pretty darn good! :-) But The upper needs some customizing done to it to fit the FDE Theme. And So Time for paint. First I taped everything that i dont want to be FDE color.And stuffed Cotton Squares the things ladies use to remove makeup. to protect the barrel and gas tube. worked great! Since i couldnt find any FDE sprey paint and had the Model Master FDE paint left over i said lets brush it on. Worked good on the lower parts :-) So i painted the left side of the Handguard. 2 coats on let dried for 24 hours then i removed the tape. Sorry didnt take pic of that part. but i liked how it came out for being brushed on So on to the right side and some Upper accents parts Painted the Dust Cover and the Forward Assist 2 coats let dry for 24 hours before removing tape. Installed it on the Lower. This is the Paint i used I Love How it all came out! I have seen either Black Handguard or FDE color Handguard but never both. I Didnt want all black or all FDE color So i Painted the Handguard myself and glad i did. Makes it stick out from the rest of the AR-47's Handguards :-D Up close you can see in some spots that it was brushed on but other then that it looks great! Love it! Next up Is the BCM, Charging Handle and Mags. Then Ammo and to the RANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im 90% done with the build. :-) Well i Hope Y'all Like my build so far. And maybe this gives you some ideas on colors or themes or just like thats a sweet AR :-D I Will update Y'all when i get the rest parts and then take it to the range. *PEW*PEW*PEW*

@Golf battery @DirtyDigz I wanna thank you. I just did the test and the pattern of smaller dots does Not rotate when i rotate the optic. So i have a astigmatism in my eyes. Guess gonna have to go to the Eye dr and see if i can get this fixed. Happy its not my optic but kinda wish it was cuz i hate going to drs haha oh well again thank you for your help :-)

Hello Everyone! I have a Vortex StrikeFire II 1x30 4 MOA Red Green Dot w/ Cantilever Mount SF-RG-501. But i am wondering if this is normal for a red dot sight. When i look threw the sight and move my head the dot will move all over. Examples: Hope these help to decide if it normal or if something wrong wint the Red dot. another question is. On the camera the dot looks like one dot but when i look at it with my eyes it looks like a few smaller dots inside a big dot. Is that something with the 4 MOA? or is it my eyes? Kinda a newbie to scopes and red dots. Thanks for your advice! Also heres a video i made of the dot.

After Researching for months i have decided to start my build So Heres a Blog On My First Part of my Build :-) Parts Installed: Anderson Lower Receiver CMMG Lower Parts Kit Magpul Polymer Trigger Guard, Flat Dark Earth UTG AR15 Ergonomic Pistol Grip, FDE AR-Stoner Buffer Tube Assembly 6-Position Mil-Spec Diameter AR-15 Aluminum Black Magpul Stock MOE FCS Fixed Carbine AR-15, LR-308 Carbine Synthetic Phase 5 Weapon Systems Inc Extended Bolt Release V2 First i bought the Anderson AR-15 Stripped Lower Reciever. Then I Installed the Magpul Polymer Trigger Guard, Flat Dark Earth I Bought the CMMG Lower Parts Kit And since i am going for A FDE Theme, I Decided to paint the Mag catch, Mag Release Button,Safety Selector and the Take Down pins. 3 Coats of white primer. Then after 24 Hours dry time i painted them with Master Model enamal Paint in Flat Dark Earth Then I color Filled the Markings on the Lower Receiver. After All the paint had 24 hours to fully cure I started installing the Lower parts kit into the lower Receiver After Installing all the lower parts kit and the CMMG Lower Parts Kit, Magpul Polymer Trigger Guard, Flat Dark Earth,UTG AR15 Ergonomic Pistol Grip, FDE, AR-Stoner Buffer Tube Assembly 6-Position Mil-Spec Diameter AR-15 Aluminum Black, Magpul Stock MOE FCS Fixed Carbine AR-15, LR-308 Carbine Synthetic, Phase 5 Weapon Systems Inc Extended Bolt Release V2 Next Onto The Upper Part. From what i have been told As long as it Pinned and or welded Your good to go i beleive it has to be min 16" long

Damn thats crazy, I got my FID first had to get paper work fill out, pay for fingerprints think it was 60 sumthing, return to police office gave paper work he said ok hell call me when it comes in, took awhile and got the call went signed my name put my finger print on it and away i went to buy my rifle, This month went back got paper work for pistol permits filled it out paid 20 bucks to the state to send my finger print info over, handed in paperwork now just playing the waiting game :-) I wasnt questioned at all, the cop in oburg was pretty cool he asked me do i have my eye on any one pistol and showed me different between 9mm and .45 ACP etc. :-)

Hey Y'all! I am interested in signing up with cherry ridge range to shoot. I would like to know is it possible for me to go before i pay and just look at the range? shotgun,100 yard, pistol etc before paying for the year? I wanna see how good it is myself you know? I emailed them with the email addy i got from ANJRPC site.But its been weeks and no email. I dont wanna drive up there and find they have like a gated entance and need a code or something. So heres my question(s) 1.Is it possible for me to go there and just look at the ranges i wont have any firearms just myself and my truck. 2.For the Cherry Ridge goers What do you think about the range, ppl there, Range masters. Next sunday is the membership meeting and i wann go before then just to get a look out and then if i like it i will go and sign up for the year. I found that its best to go (when i get my membership) during the week and not weekends less crowded, which is great for me cuz i am disabled and cant work :-) Thanks for taking time out to read my post :-) *High Five*
