  1. There are related articles I didn’t post. It appears that Bloomberg is behind this idea. He planted the bug in investor’s ears. Large Christian organizations are buying up stocks so as to gain control of gun companies. https://finance.yahoo.com/m/ef16f134-0b44-3c3a-a07b-449847b32d5e/investors should-be-more.html?.tsrc=applewf
  2. Looks like morons are trying to put the heat on Ruger. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/majority-sturm-ruger-investors-vote-214441360.html?.tsrc=applewf https://finance.yahoo.com/news/nuns-against-guns-sturm-ruger-162600066.html?.tsrc=applewf
  3. It's pretty much a give-in how most of us feel about Hi-point products but still their doing this makes them an ally. I would like to also email them a "thank you for your support". I'm having trouble finding an email address for them. Just snail mail and phone numbers and their CEO Charles Brown President, MKS Supply, LLC. If anyone finds one please share it. Thanks.
  4. I don't often agree with @bhunted but looking at these lines together and.......
  5. I sent and they responded. (I was hoping for a coupon ) Thank you for your email, Bob, and for supporting Mossberg! Best regards, Linda Powell Director, Media Relations From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, May 09, 2018 3:59 PM To: Powell, Linda Subject: Dicks Dear Ms. Powell, I'd like to take a moment to thank you on behalf of law abiding gun owners for you support and courageous business decision to withdraw your products from Dicks and Field & Stream stores. While I'm sure this was not an easy choice for you to make we appreciate it and support you as it being the right one. Thanks again.
  6. Everyone please join me in emailing Mossberg, as I did Ace Hardware and Springfield Armory, in thanking them for their support and their courageous business decision with regards to Dicks. mailto:[email protected]
  7. I believe this is so for our government as well.
  8. I think it’s how it applied to HUD buildings as opposed to a regular privately owned apartment building. The leasing laws in those cases vary greatly.
  9. I understand that, honest. But my point is I really couldn't imagine offering a reference that would say anything less than the sun shines out of my whazoo. Maybe different departments do it differently. But at the barracks I need to use, I give them the references I want to use and I send the reference form to my two choices. They then mail or fax the form back to the barracks directly. I only use pro 2A references that can be depended on to be mature enough to realize what the question means. I mean, would the people having these issues put references on their job resume that would say things like "he always comes in late" "he smells" "He can't do the job"? I know that it is the job of the LEOs to jerk our chain and make it as hard as possible but when filling out these forms common sense needs to prevail. When you're asked "do I look fat in this dress?" how do you answer?
  10. @Zeke I can't seem to find one of those hand on head thingies. But if I could I would insert one here. Do you have a spare?
  11. WHY DOES THIS ISSUE KEEP COMING UP??? Why does anyone check yes in those boxes??? Why give references that would say you’re crazy??? Why? Why? I’m beginning to think that checking those boxes and then running around to get things straight is a testament to the question in the first place. Is it just me?
  12. My fun gun would be a Mare’s Leg. Don’t ask me why. Just would.
  13. This is true. The STS-033 could have been modified in anticipation of our driver's licenses not meaning shit because Murphy's criminals will have the same as us. I wonder if this means I won't have to bring the 6 points of ID to MVA any more? After all why will we have to verify our citizenship for anyway?
  14. Do we know if her email is the same? I sent her one thanking her I wonder if she got it.
  15. And Nappen said that what they’re doing with a juvenile record is okay?!! If so you might want a second opinion.
  16. I did a similar one to ACE Hardware a few weeks ago BTW. I think it slipped through the cracks here on the forum but they reversed their decision to not carry certain gun related products (which they do in free states) after review of their customer base. So I thanked them. But I gotta tell you there was no cooler feeling on my vacation last year to Montana than when I walked into an Ace and had the sales rep show me the AR on the wall right next to the paint supplies. And he wasn't asking any questions. I could have bought it and walked right down main street with it. If I only had driven instead of flown.......
  17. Just set the following: Subject: 2A Rights 6:45 AM To [email protected] To whom it may concern: I recently read an article which stated Springfield-Armory would be removing themselves as a vendor for gun sales to Dick's Sporting Goods and Field & Stream stores. I hope this article is accurate because I wish to thank you for your courage and participation in our struggle to maintain our gun rights. I hope your decision turns out to be one of a leadership role for other companies to do the same. Thank you again.
  18. Yeah, well, as Rosie keeps pointing out it’s tough when one’s business gets involved. The bottom line dictates. Many a soul has been sold or traded for survival of a business.
  19. If it were today Murphy would have me reported on a list as bringing beer from other states to NJ endangering the undocumented immigrants lives because they would end up drunk driving with their new drivers licenses to their hamburger flipping 15.00/hr jobs that they hope to leave after their free college. But I would be the criminal.
  20. I was living in Colorado Springs during all that. I used to smuggle as many cases as one could fit in the trunk of a ‘72 Monte Carlo Back to NJ people willing to buy it. I thought I remember it differently in the headlines but a lot is blurry from the 70s.
  21. Yup. That movie and Paul Newman opened a whole can of worms for Coors.
