I watched the entire press conference yesterday and the media is 100% dishonest and not factual, they report what 'they' want to report. At one point the president, and to me looked about as honest as can be said, ... " you know maybe, maybe this can ultimately bring the world together." Or something as close to that..but 100% said bring the world together. Why isnt that news? Why isn't it news that the sitting POTUS expresses hope that a concerning thing that is striking the world, can hopefully bring us all in the world together???? Up to $ 2,500 in $20's - for short term use is always good - we could go down the road of a real post apocalyptic scenario - but we are not at that discussion and it would muddy the waters. We have increased our logistical supplies for 5 adults and pets in our home - but we upped it a month ago looking ahead to where we might be - or may be going. All these items are items that you should have on hand anyways....regardless of current social ills. In my mind being prepared, is not watching the news cycle to see if you should prep, it should be ingrained in your psyche. Once you have a mindset of preparedness, you can rationalize a situation more effectively, as you know what you have done, to insulate in as much as possible, your family from social interaction. Your home security plan is also not something that is transient, it needs to be in 100% every day, even without any social abnormalities or additional potential upheavals. We have been living like this in the sticks of Sussex co for 27 years....this is why we never settled in LI or more densely populated areas. We weathered Sandy with not so much as a little dent, God grant us the same for what might be coming. Shotties and handguns are always loaded....ya know big bears and possible intruders......we don't have to go to rifles, just yet. I see all this as an opportunity and a wake up call for America.... About two years ago i think it was i grabbed a s&w m&p 45, it was a raleigh durham gun amd had the logo of tje department on it...night sights, two mags...10 round 45acp... Sights were still lightly lit but changed them to fiber optic...light use carried more than shot..very accurate and a great trigger. They had a sale on 10 round 45 mags...picked up an other six... Some of the best money i have spent on a used and meant to be used firearm/tool No regrets

Insect but old woodworking wood is actually too dry for a woodstove unless you you perfect sealing and a way to full damper the stove - being it is already mostly dry and beyond dry it can be too combustible if that makes sense
