Purchasing an 1863-1870 Derringer Type Pistol? Require Permit?

Recommended Posts

I am looking to purchase a Remington Elliot 5 Barrel .22rf type derringer pistol. Here is the description:

n
Made c. 1863-1870's, Tip-up barrel 5-shot deringer pistol, Includes, 5-shot stationary barrel, Revolving firing pin, Fluted barrels, Smooth wooden walnut grips, Blued finish, Ring type trigger, Barrel tilts forward for loading and ejecting, Front bead and grooved frame sight, Barrel length, 3". SN:6414

Do I need to use one of my permits for this? I have checked the gun laws and can’t find anything about antique pistols and I’m thinking .22rf is commercially available…

I appreciate any and all help.
