Bob D 0 Posted September 4, 2009 I removed the operating rod from my Garand Rifle and noticed that it has a small curve to it toward the barrel end. The spring fits OK and it doesn't seem to bind when I open and close the bolt. I have not fired it yet. Should the entire Operating Rod be straight?
