FID Hackettstown

I'm going to try and get my FID when I go back for Christmas break. Is there anyone from/near Hackettstown that knows how well it will go there? Thanks.

I have a friend in Hackettstown who says that FID's and purchase permits have a relatively quick turnaround. He brags about how he gets his permits usually within a few weeks, while I have to wait months because I live in neighboring Mt. Olive, where it takes anywhere from 4-6 months just for a purchase permit (took them almost 8 months to get me my FID).

I am in Hackettstown, turnaround is pretty quick. Getting Handgun permits use to be a lot faster but the State is making them do State background checks which cost 17 bucks now, the detective told me he was originally doing free federal background checks. FID card took about a month. I just got some pistol permits 2 weeks back, they took about 3 weeks. When I got mine they did fingerprinting there, but they changed that as of July-09.
