Definately need to be a handloader or rich to feed that thing. It would be fun to shoot though.

I seriously thought of getting one of those, and then reality struck. No place with a long enough range (600 yards+) to make use of the round. Factory ammo about $5/round. Brass about $2/round. None of my regular presses with a large enough openings to reload this round (Rockchucker / Bonanza - now Forester - Co-Ax) - but it is really cool. I managed to persuade a friend, who lives in Wyoming and has 8K acres of land, to buy a .338LM, but he got something a little more esoteric than an AR30...

 

 

It's a Desert Tactical with a Schmidt & Bender scope. I love spending other people's money - but he can afford it.
