Tash329 2 Posted July 5, 2010 Anyone think the new SC ruling with have any effect on NJ C&R purchasing. I'm not well read enough on the subject to venture a guess. The idea of a C&R has always appealed to me. Semper Paratus
1563621 388 Posted July 9, 2010 C&R in NJ is a waste of money. Still need NJ license. You will never get it!
coldsolderjoint 84 Posted July 10, 2010 Well, if you plan on purchasing a lot of old guns, C&R can save you money in the long run (no nics charges). Unfortunatley, I don't think wev'e ever got a concrete answer on the NJ "Unlicensed Dealer" law. The SC ruling might open the door to normal C&R, but wev'e got a long way to go IMO. One advantage a C&R brings to the table is the discounts from a lot of places on other things than guns. Brownells, IIRC Midway, and others give you FFL prices rather than retail.
