Strike One against CCW on a Federal Level

Recommended Posts

Guest megaman

The first post mcdonald case about arbitrary ccw permitting just got decided in california.

It looks like we lost on this case. The bad news it sets a precedent at a federal level.

Appeal time...McDonald and Heller were started based on a bad ruling, so this is step 3 for us.

I would think the cases that are unfolding nationwide would be consolidated at some point for presentation to the SCOTUS.

So this is going to take a while..

Also the biggest. And the busiest.

That cheerful thought aside, I believe they are the most overturned on percentages as well as by absolute numbers. Plus, this wasn't an Appeals Court decision - and a panel of the 9th did rule that the 2A guaranteed an individual right applicable to the states before McDonald - the decision was stayed pending McDonald nad has been sent back for reconsideration by the lower court in light of McDonald and Heller - the Nordyke case. the 9th circuit is a crapshoot, it all depends on the judges you draw for your panel on appeal

9th Circuit..the most overturned cout in the country....

Immigration moves detainies out of the 9th distict(as well as some of the northeast districts) to the 5th (Texas) because they know the liberal judges in the 9th will let the detainies out on bail or simply drop the charges because these poor disadvantaged people only sold drugs or robbed people because comming from another country they just didn't understand it's not OK to do that in our country. No need to deport them when they have a (illeagal) family here that they would be separated from and the're sure they won't do it again.
