bulpup 98 Posted May 18, 2011 Old news to some, but I am hoping this man's discussion and its simplicity will start to change how media behaves. A centrist by nature, I find what the man says to be how most news is segregated, even without the web doing it for you. Filter Bubbles I found it very relevant to the "A Tale of Two Stories" thread but did not want to hijack it. I guess this could probably be moved to general discussion though, sorry
Malsua 1,422 Posted May 18, 2011 They've been tailoring seArch results for a long time. I can't tell you how many times I've done phone support with someone, tell them to google something and the links are all different. It's very annoying.

I agree, but I think what this guy is saying is really pointing out (to me anyway) how anti's will never find a positive gun story. Or more importantly, when we say things like "the mainstream media will never print/show this positive gun story," the reality is those people we want to see it will never come across it - even if they googled it.
