MedicYeti 96 Posted October 6, 2011 I have a frien who is a PA resident and has a non resident NJFID card. He wants to buy a rifle off me. Can I do a F2F transfer since he has the non resident card or do I have to go through a FFL? I wrote the NJSP with this question but have not yet received a reply so while I wait for them i want to know if the group has any knowlege/experience. Thanks. What is the point of a non resident FID card? The only thing I can think of is to buy ammo in the state.

He could by a long gun from a NJ dealer but not a private person. This is federal law.
