Garand Ported Gas Plug

Garandgear.com sells a ported gas plug that allows the shooting of commercial ammo out of a Garand without causing any damage. Does anybody have any experience with these? It sure would make life easier.

I prefer the Shuster plug, although it's all I have and have nothing to compare it to. It works perfect so I have no complaints. I am just a little weary of ordering from garandgear because it doesn't have any reviews. Actually AIM has the Shusters right now.

Have used the Schuster and found it to work very well once you have taken the time to fine tune your Garand for the ammo your shooting.
