Tosser 61 Posted April 29, 2012 Who: Chris Fry @ MDTS Training What: Combative Shotgun 1+ 2. 0830-1700 Where: Buckeye Gun Club, Barneget, NJ. Ammo: I used 250+ rds of Birdshot, 15 rds Buck, and 20 slugs. 30rds Pistol. I used my Remington 870 18" cylinder bore XS Big Dot front sight 4 rd side saddle (It broke off during the buckshot segment) +2 extension Standard Synthetic hunter stock and forearm Rolly Polly Dump Pouch to load from. Class had a total of 13 students. This was my first time taking a Shotgun class with MDTS. I have taken numerous carbine and pistol classes with MDTS and various other trainers. I'll be the first to admit I realize the usefulness of the Shotgun but still hate it. It's slow to reload. Who else from the forum was there? I forgot to ask during class. I'll throw my full AAR up later tonight. But first some pictures. Bad a** Asian Gun slingers! We shot...A LOT.
RAYWOODROW3RD 5 Posted May 10, 2012 I was there as I was the host organization. REALLY a good time. My cheap 18 inch Maverick 88 pump held up nicely with the higher priced shotguns in the group. RW3
