A2 stock sling mount

Hey all

 

I recently put an a2 stock on my stag build. Problem is I want a single point sling mount but I'm having a hard time finding one or at least finding one that says it will fit in the description. I remember seeing one a while back that clamped around the stock at the receiver end. I'd like one that fits in where the end plate would've been but there's not a whole lot of options.

What's the opinion on the clamp style? I'm afraid of it getting loose and cutting into the stock

I've used the GG&G looped adapter, and it's very well made, and fit perfectly.

Overall, I like it a lot. It's somewhat expensive for what it is, but, it has worked well for me.

 

I have it installed on a Sully Stock (http://www.thedefensiveedge.com/Sully_Stock_p/sully01.htm) and after 2 years I noticed that it moved a little. I probably wouldn't have even noticed except it moved enough that when I pulled the charging handle it would rub against the mount. I've since put loctite on the screws and so far so good.

Just ordered the gg&g loop from midway. Decides against the clamp style only because I planned on duracoating the stock
