xd9sc trigger job

Well i am contemplating trigger work for my xd9. This is my off duty gun. It has a lot of pre travel and almost no reset. I was contemplating a powder river precision ultimate match trigger but am unsure if the trigger will be too light for every day carry. Any suggestions?

I just got that trigger kit, its a competition trigger. to light for carry in my opinion.

That's what I thought. Sme guys are swapping the some parts while leaving the oem springs. Apparantly that leaves a bit heavier pull

just finished the install, its pretty light but yeah the springs will make it heavier, so may be good. over travel gone.. so wonderfull.. it is like a polymer 1911 :-)

the thing i hate most is all the take up before the shot. I feel like I'm pulling forever
