twong11219 0 Posted July 15, 2013 If you had a choice between the 2, what would you pick? BHP would be the Browning Belgium made one.
jds560 0 Posted July 15, 2013 I would buy the P88 Compact. The Hi Power's are more readily available and not worth as much. P88's typically go for over $1000

twong11219 0 Posted July 15, 2013 I hear you about the slide mounted safety. I have a 92FS and wish that safety was only a decocker only. Flipped it twice on me in a match. I've only touched a P88C many years ago and just this Saturday found one at a store in LI. To my shock, it was practically NIB with all paperwork, test target from the factory and original box. I remembered how comfortable it felt in my hand back then and even now, feels exactly the same. DA pull was smooth out of the box and much better than the USP Compact I handled not too long ago. SA was a bit heavy, but still clean break. Helps that the P88C comes from the factory with an overtravel stop. The store was asking way too much though. These 2 were always on my want list. Undecided at the moment.
