Courts have ruled taking firearms into your room is not covered under FOPA. Leave them in the car and get Eastern Insurance. Guy in upstate NY brought firearms into run while traveling to Maine and forgot one. He was looking at a long prison sentence. Good advice is fuel up, go to the bathroom, and don't stop in NJ, NY, MD, and other Communist States.

If you're in a gun friendly state make's no difference if you bring them in your room.

I agree with that. Someone asked me the other day on a group chat if hollow points and BB guns were illegal in NJ.. When I replied no and explained the law they were shocked. People in other states couldn't believe it was that screwed up in NJ.
