tbtrout 141 Posted April 10, 2009 http://www.njsp.org/about/firearms.html Here is a quick link to the NJSP firearms page. Answers questions, prints forms. Helpful as a quick reference. Also, I have called them on a few occasions with questions. The Trooper/Detective was very helpful and knowledgable about the laws. They were not dismissive, sarcastic or rude. I know there might be hesitation to call the Police about gun legalities for fear of they have my # and they are coming for me. They already have your # if you have a FID card. It is another resource that gets very little use.
rscalzo 3 Posted April 10, 2009 Just be advised that they will not answer legal questions, nor give any legal advice. They will attempt to explain the laws as currently in force.
tbtrout 141 Posted April 11, 2009 Thanks for clarifying. I didn't think about that.
