That's why I said "at minimum". For general contact, they work fine. I would doubt most people aren't going to be walking around with those two masks Scorpio just posted. Ever try to wear one of them for an extended period? It's NOT pleasant. Ha..., go walk through the grocery store wearing one.... and watch the looks that you get.
The other big area where contamination is passed, is by your hands. Touching surfaces or people, then touching your skin, mouth, nose or eyes, is where the majority of these bugs get passed around. In these cases, the N95 would put a barrier between your fingers and nose/mouth. Protection and contamination control of what you touch is actually MORE important.
