Federal for 9mm. Cci Blazer and Federal for 40. they didnt have 45 I dont believe. call them if you are going to go.

kel tec. I fondled both, but shot only the kel tec, the fit and finish on the hi point is where the money difference is. you can change the stock on the hi point, but by then, you could of buy a kel tech or close to a beretta storm to begin with.

with tax it was just under $10 a box. this was the bensalem store, right off route 1 and old lincoln highway.

I dont know if I would go as far as saying they are plain ol garbage... but having handled, not shot, both the pistol and carbine... they do reflect the pricetag they demand. apparently though, the carbine... even though the stock is not amazing quality, is reliable. furthermore, warranty and customer support at hi point is supposed to be great.

"Yes, as soon as you finish ringing me up, I am going to go to my car, get my handgun, come in here and give it back to you." but yeah.... either he wasnt thinking.... or a weird sense of humor. In any case.... 18 more boxes of 9mm. =) Although I did pick them up for another board member here... will see how much ammo I have in the stash at home, may sell some on here. They also had a bunch of 40sw in cci blazer. didnt look like they had 45. had 223 there.

So went to visit some family in PA. Since they have a Walmart by them, decided to call and see if they had ammo.... they did. sweet. So took my brother and my girlfriend into the car, and drove up there to get the ammo. We each got 6 boxes of 9mm ammo, the wally special, and proceeded to the checkout. Since they had already closed the sporting goods checkout counter, another guy brought our ammo to the electronics checkout. Indian guy checking us out. Brother buys his 6 boxes... puts them in a bag, checks out. all good. My 6 boxes next.... and after scanning the first box.... Cashier : What are these things? Myself : Bullets, ammunition Cashier: Really? .... Are you going to use these to kill people? myself : ummmmmm (thinking wtf did he just ask me?) My GF: No, for target practice. Only when we left the store, the stupid factor hit me. I wonder if I contact Walmart if this will be good for a $100 gift card. lol. See, even in freedomland..... not everyone is a gun owner.

they just dont want you to open it up on the people who sold it to you... but I am sure you can tell them to hold it up front for you while you shop for more stuff.

I did look at the 5.7. =P they do have the FiveSeven pistol in 10rd as well. ammo is fairly avail. Just like when everyone had trouble with getting 45acp... never once had an issue with 45Gap avail. it is nice to have an oddball. only issue will be is if it will be halted from production. other thing with 5.7 round.... 2100 fps, military stuff at 2900 fps, some ranges may have an issue with it.
