I have one myself and just sold one today. Fun to shoot. Over a hundred in stock. Not my stock, but the distributors. Plenty of ammo available too!!! IMO, it recoils less than a 9mm, is more accurate than any handgun, and costs about the same as a .45 to shoot. I dented a plate at a local plate shoot and was asked not to use it.

There are instances where the PD/PO becomes involved. For instance, the owner dies alone and under unknown or questionable circumstances. The firearms are in the now vacant home. They would be taken for "safekeeping" purposes by the PD. The PD/PO will make the decision to return the firearms to the heir when the case is closed. NOW, if the heir is a prohibited person, by statute they have 180 days to transfer ownership to another. HOWEVER, the firearms can not be turned over to the heir by the PD/PO for obvious reasons, so they must go to a dealer for the transfer. Far fetched scenario? Not really. Ask me some other time, why and what a pain in the ass it was.

AND as a side note, your DL is good for 7 days when you move or you can be ticketed for failing to change your DL address. Your FID is no longer valid if the address change is not made by the 30 day period. BOTH must match.

If they don't have anymore, I could help you out. Check with them first.

I know a few NJ residents who have the license. No NICS on C&R guns. Discounts from Wholesalers. The rest is the same.

No such law exists. The NJSP had wording on their website a few years back stating that both must be separate, which is not true. They have since took it down. Also, they changed what the NJAG guideline said about the mag capacity of shotguns. They reworded it to fit the law. They have since took that down. The guideline conflicts with the law regarding that, but that is for another discussion.

Nice setups. Can you see out of the aimpoint mounted that low on the AR?

Private Handgun Sales?
PK90 replied to PoorSoulInJersey's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
\ There is no magic number. This what matters is if they can show a "Pattern of Behavior" For instance, you bought 20 AR lowers when they were $99.00 each from say Elite Arms no worries, no limits as to how many you can purchase. NOW, 3 years later the panic is full blown and you sell off 10-15 of those recievers for $300.00 each. NOW you are acting as an unlicensed dealer as you are clearly selling those receivers to make a profit. I would think that 3 years is an extremely long time for a "dealer" to sit on guns to make a sale. If the turn around time is 3 weeks, that is another story.
