Anyone used Constitution Arms for an FFL transfer recently? I'm about to buy a stripped AR lower via gunbroker and would like to use them for the transfer. I understand they're not the cheapest, but they're definitely the closest to me.

Hope he's better soon. There is a warning out from Morris Co. that the Norovirus is here in NJ. I believe I got it last year from a patient we took into the hospital and I was completely debilitated for 2 days. Never been sick like that before. If it is Norovirus, he should look back ~48 hours as the point to which he was exposed to it.

Thousands of rounds through my G26, never experienced a "bite", but I don't have your hands. I can see that if you have a lot of flesh in that area that it could push up and graze the bottom of the slide. Sounds like you either modify your grip, modify the Glock, or get something else to shoot.

Yup, take it to the Bullet Hole all the time. The only thing out of the ordinary is they ask me not to make "head shots" when using buckshot to save wear and tear on their target holders.

Have a lasermax guide rod in my G26. Pros - it's in-line with the barrel on a horizontal basis, so you don't have to adjust left/right (although the difference is slight enough at short ranges that it likely doesn't matter). - It doesn't add width to the gun (although the switch/slide release tab on my G26 is a tiny bit wider than stock) - I wouldn't say you have to "fumble" for the switch, but yeah, you have to switch it on. I find the switch lies right underneath my index finger when I have my finger out of the trigger guard, so I don't find myself reaching for it. The advantage of this setup is that you can turn the laser off if you want to while still having the gun in hand. Cons - the emitting lens will get coated with gunpowder residue when the gun is fired, and the more you fire the more occluded the lens becomes and the dimmer the laser spot gets - The internal plastic cap on the end of the guide rod eventually wears out from the internal action of the barrel moving and you have to get a new one. Lasermax doesn't tell you this in the documentation, but you have to consider that part as a consumable. If you shoot your gun a lot, better have some extras on hand.

Another reason to get involved in IDPA (or similar). Somerset IDPA had a low light competition couple of months ago, hand held flashlight required. Great practice finding, identifying and shooting at targets in the dark.

In a car with seat belts, air bags and likely designed to sacrifice the frame to protect the occupants. Hey, I watched Yeager's response video too. Sorry, but he didn't convince me that the risk/reward ratio of having that photographer there made sense. Didn't break any of the 4 gun rules, didn't break any of the 10 commandments or the 30 rules of dating your daughter either. Sure broke the "unnecessary stupid risk" rule though.
