I would love to thin the tree rat herd by me..yeterday when leaving the house I pull out on the road, go up a hill, approaching the crest, I loose pwr steering and pwr brakes, theres a wirling sound, cant stop, :pray: , had to use parking brk.. open the hood to find the serpentine belt popped off.....why?..... a tree rat was in there, guessing it jumped into the pulleys, got his head smashed between the pully/belt.. ...it was'nt pretty.....

for me; when applying for FID/PP an initial application fee for background/prints was $60.25 m.o. paid to njsp sbi.. plus the 5 for the fid and the 2 for pistol permit paid to the PD in cash... for a holder of an FID, its just $18 m.o paid to njsp sbi and 2 paid to pd for permits....also had to get a form notarized- dont remember what-

some times I say "your really quite emotional ---are'nt you",, its better to remain unaffected by rediculous replies so it cant be said your dangerous to be around by over reacting to anti sentiments... as crazy as it sounds ;if all the people I know owned a gun ;I'd only feel safe around 1 guy, the rest would make me nervous...

I've been trying for years to get people to hit the range... some avoid me, some use friendly sarcasm to display thier view on guns, some have even berrated me about owning a gun ...some have said; thats cool you own a gun,but its not for me.

nice to know we have a bunch of develishly clever people creating laws or regs. based on personal believes for the greater good... so whats next? a provisional FID for those 21 and under that would only allow buying shotguns and shells ...I would'nt bet against them saying; only persons 25 yrs or older may obtain an FID......smells like chicago style rules...

its all over the news how things are getting better;;;so they should'nt be thinking about extending benys right?..yet I get to work with a new guy on the crew today;;seems he's a union hv/ac $40hr guy that was working xanadu till they shut down...he's been collecting $560 wk for almost 3yrs and all he did today was wine about the unemployment checks...so I said" you'll get no sypathy from me...you collect and have a day job to boot...then he left me alone.........he's my helper but makes more a week now than me with his UE check and this job.....crazy

maybe you can pick up the doctor letters or ask them to be sent certified or registered mail for dates sent and recieved..this way they cant say "it came to late".....did the dr. say something to imply it would take awhile to send a letter? try to get copies of anything they send out... as far as the 30 day thing; if you think or led to believe you will be denied after 30 days...then ; withdraw your request for the FID till you have all youre ducks in a row......keep a positive thought.......alot of people have been through worse to get an FID........

Also, can a non-resident of NJ apply for a FPID? yes ; they would have to apply at a NJSP station nearest the border of thier home state....not the exact wording in the regs, but close....

i'm an optimist so; seems like they are giving you a real chance at getting an fid.....if you were'nt confined or committed for a phyc eval, there should'nt be a state record for them to find..answer no...I believe there is a law that requires a doctor to make a report if they feel a patient should'nt own firearms...if your doctor did'nt make a report, then start saving $$ for something that goes "Bang"......

I think you should answer yes; then use the space provided and explain it....if you submitted the app recently,consider calling the pd and say you forgot to add info....mite save ur butt. ..lets see what others think

I've been stopped a time or two in my day and one of the Q's I'm asked is where you coming or going to.. and I'll honestly say a gun range which is followed by..do you have a gun on you? was never asked to show it.. one time I got a ticket with a bad attitude..other time was told have a nice day and go straight home.....

I go about my day at "yellow"....aware of what or who is around me at all times and avoid being in a position I cant get out of... look at people that go around staring at their feet or their cell..its easy to see why some get robbed or worse....

I agree with kpdpipes......perhaps the first big fight in nj should be that the 2nd amd. be added to the state constitution first......

[ Some folks wont accept that the majority of the population of this state are sheep that belive whatever crap the media feeds them about guns. ALL you need to do is read some of the responses on NJ.com after gun articles. the "Pro" comments are far fewer than the antis. how bout' whenever an article shows up related to guns, a link is posted here so everyone can go to it and post non-emoitional reasons and or facts supporting less restrictive laws as a way to educate the sheep.... the pro side needs to be heard more; but also what I see is, many people dont even pay attention to the world around them as long as they have money to live as they see fit...my boss recently climbed down my throat after I mentioned scotus last week..He didnt know about it at all;so I explained it best I could; thats when he went off.....

I been kicking around a thought in my head...and to me it would seem that jewish,hindu and asian residents in nj are becoming regular targets of violent crimes lately....if you can get these groups to push for ccw; it could help make trenton atleast consider the idea...or better yet push for a constitutional amendment vote for ccw in nov.
