Another thing that got me was.. how did the dog pick up the scent? Do they have bomb dogs regularly patrol this school? I was wondering the same thing. Bad timing for the student. Every now and then at my HS they would lock it down, not allowing anyone to go in the halls while the dogs sniffed the lockers. Im not sure if they ever went through the student parking lot. Probably.

This is my last question, hopefully. What division should a newbie with a Browning Hi Power be in? I want to know if that division prohibits removing the magazine disconnect safety. It isnt on the production list and doesnt allow that removal, so limited 10 for a noob like me? Loading an empty magazine(from empty pocket or RO) to drop the hammer may not be too great but maybe OK as long as I and the RO checks its empty and handgun is pointed in safe direction of course. OR apparently I could disengage it with my finger via the magwell???

i am in a similar situation as well. i believe you will need to get your FID, then your pistol permit, then fill out the certificate of eligibility when you are 21.
