  1. That could be a Harrington & Richardson. 38 S&W. 1890-1892. The top of the barrel should be marked with the name on it. Also check for "999" stamped on the cylinder back face.
  2. I've gotten the same thing. Purchased my home almost three years ago and my name must have been put on top of some list. Gotten tons of automated calls, letters and live operators trying to convince me I'm paying too much. They were pretty vague during the initial few minutes gathering info. Since I'm used to toner and paper scams from my work, I know how to dance around each question without answering anything. The calls and letters have stopped but we still get an automated call once every two to three weeks.
  3. Yeah. Very sad. Much younger than I thought he was, too.
  4. I just dealt with the same thing except I was able to find a rental company that it belonged to. I called them up and they checked their system and saw that it was written off as a loss about three years prior to the call. They produced me with a simple letter allowing me to do with the "leftovers" as I saw fit. I then had to register it as a homemade. I went to a big box home improvement store and explained to the cashier that I wanted him to scan a whole bunch of bar codes That I had. I would pay for it and then go and return it without touching any product. He was on board as I told him that I needed to produce receipts to show that I actually bought the raw materials to make said trailer. The dmv took all necessary materials and paperwork and I was able to register it. Ironically when I went to the property where it had been abandoned for 6 years, someone beat me to it and it was gone. Go figure.
  5. So after getting frustrated with tanks, bottles and such always falling over when looking for something, I decided to make this with some scrap left over from a built in bookshelf project. I was using a plastic tray and it wasn't working out. I've seen some stands on EBay and Etsy but nothing like a custom job. Especially a perfect notch for the VTR. Anybody else make a custom stand? Would like some ideas if I make another.
  6. Randolph police suggested I register multiple times during my argument with them when I first moved here. They asked me three or four times when I was going to complete the paperwork. Three years later still haven't gotten around to it. Argument was that instead of a simple address change to my FID, I was required to complete the entire process over again.
  7. Just built this enclosure to keep the generator in and close to the transfer switch. I used to have to drag it around the house from the garage. I plan on running it in here when needed especially during rain/snow. Will be adding a vent on each side with two electric fans and an exhaust hookup that runs up and out away from the house. (Having trouble posting a pic from iPad right now)
  8. I actually heard a vape employee talking about this today. They are and will within 2 years. He claims non-refillable cartridges will be the first to be taxed, then any juice containing nicotine. Also RBA's and drippers will no longer be available, according to him.
  9. So far my favs are: Cherry tobacco Jersey fruit Hobbes blood Chocolate mint Piña colada Tiger blood Graham cracker crusted blueberry cheesecake I bought a huge sampler pack off eBay and still haven't tried all of them. Mostly generic flavors like peach and cola. Ordering some more tanks next week. Right now I'm only using the Aspire Nautilus. Not a fan of kanger due to my aero tank constantly gurgling but will order a mega tank to give it another try. Still using the Vamo V5 as my go to.. I may pick up an evic as some people swear by them.
  10. If you can't find the guy your looking for, I can refer you to my guy. He's been servicing my work for over 20 years, Veteran, easy going and reasonable. He installed my transfer switch last year. He is based out of Vernon and goes to Cherry Ridge. Let me know. Thanks!
  11. Maybe we should start a post on best juice flavors with our best descriptions? The company's description is usually different from a users. With Hobbes Blood, I taste more pear than watermelon and coconut.
  12. Don't use it too often. Was told that the coils that come with it may have been bad. I switched coils and it ran great for a few days but then started again. Usually it's then next day that I find these problems. One day running great, next morning, gurgling. I run it anywhere from 9.5 - 10.5 watts, 50/50 juice or 70/30. I'm about to order 4 more aspire tanks and will get some Kanger coils and replace again and see what's up.
  13. I went to a few township pools that have the man made beaches during the winter. Nobody was there to say anything. Probably was illegal but I claim ignorance. Wealthy towns preferably.
  14. I'm relatively new to vaping. Was using the innokin VTR but was a little heavy for me. Now using the Vamo V5 and love it. So far my nautilus aspire tank is my favorite. I have the Kanger aerotank but have been having some leaking problems. Getting some juice and gurgling. I cleaned it out and changed the coil and it worked for a bit but getting leak again. How long should the coil last before having to change it?
  15. Hackensack requires notarized forms as well. Keep in mind I'm a notary and will travel. Don't mind off hours, either.
  16. Anyone have Marine experience? My wife is the HR generalist for a global Marine company. They usually have multiple openings.
  17. Go with the iPad. You can download iSwifter as a web browser and you got flash.
  18. It does have the extender tube to accommodate larger tanks. I actually just picked up the Vamo V5 today from good guys. I went in for either an SVD or Evic and they conviced me on this one and I'm very happy with the performance. Got a Kanger Aerotank to compliment it. I think it will be my main one. The VTR is pretty heavy.
  19. I didn't know this post was here. Just started vaping again. Picked up an a Ego kit for now but ordered an iTaste VTR and an Aspire Nautilus tank. Also looking to get a stainless evic for the wife. If anyone have a spare, I have lead or 38 sp brass to offer. Trying not to use cash...saving up for some tree work. Quitting smoking almost three years ago was pretty painless with these. I wish more people would give it a try.
  20. I just ordered the iTaste VTR with an Aspire Nautilus Tank. My goal is big thick clouds and based on videos and such, out of the box this was a good start for me. There are a lot of good videos and reviews on the tube.
  21. So I quit smoking almost three years ago using a cheap kit with zero nicotine. I long since gave it away to my sister in law who was interested in quitting. I was passing Flash Vapor last week on Route 10 in Randolph and decided to get a new kit. Bought a standard kit and already went online to buy a new better quality setup. Anyone here into vaping and have some extra stuff? May look to trade off some ammo or reloading stuff for setup or zero nicotine e juice flavors. Friends love to try all the stuff when they come over for bbqs and such and need to keep up. Thanks.
  22. Definitely use the golden rod. Three years ago I bought a house and moved into the woods. A few weeks later I noticed some light surface rust powder develop. I put a rod in the safe and no issues since then.
  23. Check out Shire silver. They make laminated currency cards with the precious metal inside. Not by denomination but by weight. Instead of a $25 silver piece, they will be in increments of grams. Mostly a novelty item now but who knows? I think they are on the right track.
  24. My father used to take my brother and I to a range somewhere in the Bay Area. We shot an old tube fed Winchester 22. Actually found out he still has it 25 years later somewhere in a storage unit. After that, 6 years ago shooting with the Chief of Police in a local town in his backyard. After that, bought my own and logged many hours at the range.
