How many people want to give up cigarettes or cigars??
Celraysoda replied to hd2000fxdl's topic in General Discussion
That's great. I think I was that member. I still haven't smoked since. Awesome job! -
If I had to guess, there was maybe 300, 30 round magazines available and 25, 5 rounders. I'm going to hit them up again tomorrow. Hoping to get some 223.

100 people answer in 120 ways. What makes a 30 round mag NJ legal???
Celraysoda replied to MPA's topic in AR Discussion
Yes but not by choice. I was at Bullet Hole with 15/30 double stacks with my WASR. Felt a tap on my shoulder and so it began. Was asked to the side while a fellow shooter who probably was some sort of LEO inspected them. -
Forgot to add they had bins of 30 round AR mags. Metal, plastic, see through, etc. $14-$35. The staff in the store seemed to be concentrated in the hunting section. Just about one staffer per aisle. Overheard many of them saying the same things we hear in Jersey about ammo gone and should have more soon, etc. All were very polite and courteous.

They actually had some sales and fuller shelves of shotgun. $12.99 a box of the Zombie defense stuff and $3.99 5 round boxes of buckshot. I am going back on Thursday. PM me what your looking for and a max price and I can pick some up for you.

Least expensive firearm you ever purchased?

That's awesome. Bidding on a new .380 Bryco type pistol on GB now. Still holding at $43 no reserve. NJ dealer, pickup ok. -
Here on a quick trip to Salem, NH for work. Couldn't pass the opportunity to visit the Cabelas right off 84 thinking they would have mountains of .223 and 5.56 as I heard one of their hunting seasons starts tomorrow. Absolutely no handgun ammo, just 3 boxes of .40. All 223 and 5.56 gone. Tons of overpriced 30-06 and 7.62. Looks like wait was about 30 minutes to an hour for firearm purchases. One lonely box of shotshell primers and no powder. Anybody know of any smaller places in Salem? I have a few days. Just looking for .223/5.56 now.

I was just thinking about this. I believe he was recently released as a suspect in the homicide. And yes, I shocked a few in a post a few months back that his accent was fake. I was watching a video and my wife was listening and commented on how lousy his accent was. I quickly turned to Google and was heartbroken, too.

All these shows are scripted now. All of them including Duck Dynasty. You think it is a coincidence that almost every episode of some repo show, one segment has a naked little person running out?

That's awesome. I heard they used to keep them in barrels back then. -

I am starting to get into the cheap pocket pistols. There are a few videos on what to change to make them pretty accurate and more dependable. Like my Jennings. Usually it's bad engineering on the feed ramp, mag or slide guide...all it need is a Dremel here and there. Looking at a new Rigari or Bryco for about $140. -
Thanks for the referral.. I've seen this name around for a while on the forums. Thanks.

My brother in law served in Iraq/Afghanistan and had quite a few "souvenirs" from his tour. He originally is from Fairlawn but was living in Florida when he recently passed away so the stuff is legal there. My father in law has been going through his items and besides helmets, packs, vests, holsters and such, there are some 30 round AR mags. Is there someone He can send them to so they can be pinned and be NJ legal? Would rather deal with someone known on here than some smith in Orlando. -Thanks.

Nice! I vote this best deal so far. -
any other high effiency luxury cars I should be looking at?
Celraysoda replied to david8613's topic in General Discussion
I've been through two BMWs. Owned them and had nothing but problems. Engine codes, over heating, bad suspension, oil seals, gas leaks, bad CPU...you name it. Got a Nissan rogue now. Love it. Funny thing is the dealer tells me these are common problems and the car owners accept it and pay for the repairs just because of the emblem on the steering wheel. Yeah, they drive nice but I wouldn't be surprised to find Bosch OEM duct tape under the hood...and a roll of it would cost $120. -
Hackensack man shot two people with pellet gun

I used to live down the street in the Carol Garden Apartments before I purchased a house 2 years ago. I recall a house where some moron was hitting me with a laser pointer when I was walking my dogs. Happened a few times. Could be the same moron. -
This all sounds strange to me....

I shave with this.... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2009401/Worlds-expensive-razor-goes-sale-100-000--SAPPHIRE-blades.html Nah, any blue disposable with two blades and the strip works fine for me. Tried straight razors before. Much happier collecting them than using them.

Excellent. Thanks for all the feedback. Pretty much what I was concerned about.

My father lives in San Fran. Gun store that has been there for 40 years is about to close its doors. He used to have bloody Mary's with the guy. He said it was mostly the neighbors and bad press that made his place seem like a hangout for criminals. All within 2 years regulars and new shooters began to disappear and locals occasionally came in to demand he shut down. Friends and neighbors demanding you close, people that you have seen for 40 years. Can't imagine...
