I had one for a while and loved it, I shot it better than any other pistol I had. You would be very happy to purchase and carry it, it's about the same size as a G26 but maybe a bit thinner.

How to tell between a crimped and non crimped primer?
*Klutch* replied to zeenon's topic in Ammunition & Reloading
yes those are non crimped. Crimped is often military brass and the edge of the primer pocket will have three marks pinned over on it or a rim around it. -
Obrez! I think that particular picture is a photoshop, but there is documented evidence of them actually being made and used. There is a guy on Youtube who has a NFA Obrez, and it doesn't seem THAT bad.. (But I also like to shoot 12 gauge from the JIC one handed). I've been kicking around the idea of making a NJ legal obrez.. (16" barrel).. but haven't found a suitable candidate yet. I did that once all I can say is hope there isn't a light right above you...

mine was I can guarantee, the only reason we delete posts is the language. If you cant say it politely, dont say it. I get a log of all deleted posts, and so far... outside of the marketplace, we have deleted 8 posts in the last year. If you think anyone here is mod crazy, sadly mistaken. If we do have to moderate a topic, we send a polite note. My post had no offensive language in it. -
My vote is for the S&W model 29 snubbie! The .44 mag pocket gun, just a really big pocket

HORRIBLE experience shipping a weapon from BH this weekend.
*Klutch* replied to Cylinder Head's topic in Handguns
I have had issues there also not with shipping but with the way they treat you when you are there. I just simply chose to not ever do business there again I have used the range 2 or 3 times since but that's it. They are the only public range around and they know it and because of that they approach their customers with whatever attitude they want and if anything is questioned you will get barked at, just find an FFL who will treat you as a person and provide you with the service you need. PM me and I will give you my FFL's info and you will never deal with this again and his pricing will beat the BH everytime. -
Trade secrets my friend.

be sure the polish you get is ammonia free, ammonia will break down the brass quickly and cause the case to crack.

I know someone. :shhh:

No doubt dude, get at me when you can. What manual do you use?

What is the max?

Well I would leave them unless you feel they are no good. More crimp just holds the bullet longer to burn more completely. Also light loads will have a tendency to be dirtier so you can up your powder charge some. What I think I would do is try 4.0gr of W231 with a min. OAL of 1.50-1.55 my Lee manual says a max charge of 4.5 with W231 at OAL 1.55 but if you are going to use 4.0gr seat your bullet at 1.50 and it will burn cleaner and probably be more accurate. I use Unique for my .45ACP and I have a load that is not dirt at all, you just have to play with the loads a bit and find the sweet spot.

870 and maybe the LCP aka the noisy cricket

Mike the 92 did that when I had it too, it's totally normal it's called half cock. On the 92 cocked and locked is not possible so you can carry it half cocked to still be safe and also lighten the trigger pull a bit. The D spring was in the gun when I traded you.

just adjust your crimp more but only if the gun is filthy. I still say they are good.
-
I was there til they closed I even helped the range officer clean up. I'm a Samaritan.
-
It not the powder that was dirty Matt it's the lube on the bullets. If you are getting black all over your gun like on the cylinder edges that's the powder, try a bit more crimp and seat the bullet just a smidge deeper. I though they fired fine.

I've seen Matt's gun it's like 8lbs

His name is Ray Ray for Christ sake! That screams cheerleader. I thought we had a great turn out, the range officer is JR he is a good dude and doesn't allow anybody to break the rules. Matt thanks for showin your biceps and shooting the K98k like a man.
